Daddy came home one day
Busting with glee
He decided to show me

Daddy lifted up his shirt
showing me the scars
He was telling stories
Of how he got this far
Daddy has war stories
of surviving through school
He always told me
of what you shouldn't do
I will love my daddy
because I think he's cool
