Doctors
they flow inside and out of the room
running
screeching at the other to make due
Dad was
calming mother when the doctor came in
he sighed
and set down the clipboard
Mr, Ms
his voice was gentle and calm
i could
swear it was an allusion
You may
want the child out of here for a moment
he said
but i wouldnt leave without my family
no more
waiting and watching others
no more
hanging on till someone else told me the truth
The baby
he said once more
holding
streaching the words until it reached my ears
she has
not developed enough of her reproductive system
so she
will never have children herself
Dad nods
and asks him when she is
he sighed
she is alive
