Of sorts that kept them alive

To have surgery immediately"
He says
"Or we could lose the baby"
My parents
Nodd at the answer
Knowing
That the child was all they had left for them
Mommy
Sat crying around hour 3
She said
"I want my baby"
Dad held
Me while we waited, singing
He said
"We'll have her soon"
