(A young girl(Bunny) runs onto stage and picks up the doll on the ground. she looks from side to side sneakily and sits with the doll)
B: Why yes susan, I would love to take you on a walk. Whats that? You want to kiss me? Why... (she pecks the doll and laughs. Meanwhile, a dog man comes over and licks her cheek) Oh, hi! Does Mr. Wilsen know youre here?
D: No child, he knows not
B: Well, my mommy always said that you should tell your mommy or daddy if youre going somewhere.
D: My parents perished to one of the moving cages.
B: (pats the dog) Oh, poor puppy
(Mother and father watch from window in background)
M: Oh dear, will she be alright by herself?
F: We can always try again...
M: (Hesitant) I...I...Oh, alright.
(The young girl (Bunny) takes dog's paw and pats it)
B: Puppy wants some therapy?
D: Child, I am not the one kissing toys that cannot speak.
(Susan stands up from the place shes been discarded)
S: Well, maybe not everyone would enjoy a talking dog!
D: Susan, you bashful creature.
B: Guys, we dont hafta fight
D: Indeed we dont.
(A man calls from offstage)
And I must go. Farewell child.
B: Bye Puppy!
Not much
has transpired
since
I left
Dad has
been helping
Mr Wilsen's lawyer
Handle the legal stuff
I wonder
why his dog
had so much
and why
he got divorced
twice
