The joy
Leading up to today
Is magic
In almost every single way
Mom loves
To decorate the house with ribbons ams statues
Dad puts
Up the tree and stockings
Ruby
My littlest joy this year
Helps by
Mumbling along with the songs
The day
Arrives without a single problem
We come
Downstairs to find presents galore
Mommy
Gets a new dress from me
And dad
Gets a fancy new tie
I got
Jewel these cute pajamas
Neutral
To help her feel confident
My surprise
Is some new video games
Violent
In the way that cuddles are
We laugh
And sing silly songs about life
Mom even
Puts on a silly headband with bells
Soon
Its time for us to leave
To meet
With the rest of the family
Grandma
And my uncles and aunts
Have gifts
Wrapped nicely in silver wrappings
We feast
And chat with our relatives
Grandma
Tells me stories of her childhood
I know
That aunt Silvia is pregnant
The way
She eats and carries herself is proof
The best
Part about meeting with everyone
Is that
I never feel alone in this world anymore
