TRUST

--------

Trust-My life, my heart, my mind, and my soul are all but some of the things I will hand to you in trust. If I trust you I think it's just a bonus in our relationship, because trust isn't something you can just hand out. I feel like in a way there's two different types of trust. The way I trust my friend of three years compared to the friend I've known for five months. When you trust someone, you can tell them anything without the fear of judgment, without the fear of the two eyes staring back at you completely ashamed. The person you trust shouldn't bail on you, hurt you, or find a way to leave you. Maybe I was wrong, some people find it easier to trust a random stranger with their deepest darkest secrets rather than trust their own mother and father. I think that's only because the thought of never having to see that person is always a good thing to a person who is a complete mess. You'll get things off your chest, but you'll never live with it anymore. It's like you let everything out and you put it into a bottle and sail it across the ocean, except it'll never make it back to the shore. The shore being all the people surrounding you full of criticism and judgment, they'll never have something to hold against you. I think when you trust someone you honestly trust them with your whole being, and everything that you are. When you trust you know you're not gonna get stabbed in the back, and when you trust you should know that you're making the right decision. If it doesn't feel right, I'm telling you, it probably isn't right, but don't let anyone stop you, be unstoppable. But for those people who do confide in others, be careful, make sure you use your eyes and ears. A persons reaction and response can tell you a whole story about who they are. Don't let someone use you, or break you, don't let someone hurt you. Be the strong one in all causes, always fight back.
