The Prophecy of Heroes; Just Us Mortals

Rachel came in, and everyone was starring at her, waiting for what she wanted to talk about.
"How much do you guys remember about each other? Anything?" She asked.
"Yeah," Tori said,"Erika's my cousin, Teresa's been my friend since high school, I met John in college, and Wisty's his girlfriend, why?" She asked.
"Eh!" She said, imitation a buzzer,"wrong, you guys don't remember?" She asked,"about Gaea?"
I heard a gasp, and turned around to see Erika with a stunned look on her face.
"Uh oh," Tori said,"last time she had that look on her face she went crazy over Percy!"
"Veronica, she told me about something...that name... She mentioned what had happened, I didn't believe her. Oh, this is bad!" She said. She stood up on the couch and climbed over everyone. Then she left the apartment.
"Erika, what?" I said.

We all followed her, and we saw that she was face-to-face with...

Suddenly, my head started aching. I saw visions flash by. Erika, with a glowing trident above her head. John... Asking me to be his girlfriend at camp. Veronica laying on the floor, bleeding.

It all came back to me, everything that had happened. But then, a question came to my mind. I had no idea how I thought of it, it was completely off topic.
"Erika, Veronica, you told us your mom died in a car crash, who was she?"
"We don't remember," Veronica answered,"all I know is that her name was... Zoe Nightshade, she had this weird job that she kept to herself"
"Hold on, Zoe Nightshade is your mom?" John asked,"She was a friend of my brother's!"
"Correct!" Rachel said,"But Zoe didn't die in a car crash"
"How did she die then?" Erika asked.
"Reyna told me it was a fire" Veronica claimed.
"So you remember Reyna?" Rachel asked.

Then the memory came back, Reyna, daughter of Bellona, praetor of Camp Jupiter.

"Yeah" I said.
"Great!" Rachel exclaimed,"now John, I need you to remember what happened to Zoe, what did Percy really tell you?"

John racked his brain trying to remember, then he looked up in shock.
"She..." He started.
"What? What happened?" Erika said, with a scared look on her face, Veronica with the same expression.
"She was bitten by Ladon, the snake that protects the tree with the golden fruit" John recalled.

Erika's knees fell to the ground, Veronica bent down to comfort her sister.
"I'm so sorry," Rachel said,"you know, I met your mother once, she was a good person"
"She was," Tori said,"I met her in the underworld a few years ago."
"I wouldn't know," Veronica said, plainly,"I never talked to her that much, she usually just came to the apartment, grabbed some things, and left"
"Veronica, do you know why that happened?" John asked.
"Why?" Erika asked, wiping her tears.
"She was Artemis's lieutenant in the Hunt, if Artemis figured out that she had kids, who knows what she would have done to her?"
"Unless she already knew" said a new voice.
A girl came up to us, she looked around 17, you could never tell that she was,
"Artemis?" Teresa asked.
"Hello, I am only here to talk to the Nightshades," she stated.
"Veronica, Erika, I knew your mother had children, it happened before she became a Hunter," Artemis claimed,"How do you think you survived without being chased by monsters all your lives?"
"You were protecting us," Erika said.
"This whole time" Veronica finished.
"Yes" Artemis replied.
"But why didn't you help me when I was being chased by the Minotaur? I nearly died!!!" Erika asked, angrily.
"Um, E? Not a good idea" I said.
"And where were you when Veronica passed out from who knows what? And what about when Gaea made us work for her? Where were you then?" She snapped.
"I can explain," Artemis said, surprisingly calm,"Gaea kept me from interfering, she blocked my communication with the two of you" she explained.
"I wanted to help, I nearly gave Zeus a black eye trying to get to you girls"
"Youch!" I said.
"Indeed" Artemis agreed.
"So, why come now?" Veronica asked.
"I knew it was time for you to see the truth about your mother, I've been blocked ever since Gaea 'Took you in,' I finally broke her spell, which I believe gave you your memories back" Artemis explained.
"But why the headache?" I asked, remembering the last one from 5 years ago, when the curse started, it was worse than the one we had 5 minutes ago.
"I understand the pain was worse than before, there's a reason for that as well" she said.
"What?" Teresa asked.
"Someone here isn't supposed to be here, and so the pain she experienced spread across the 6 of you"

We all automatically knew who that was.

"Veronica?" Erika asked,"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean..."
"It's fine, it wasn't your fault. Gaea was controlling you"
"But I..."
"Don't worry, Erika, nobody blames you"
"Yeah!" Teresa cut in,"it's not like you meant to do it! Besides, if we blamed you for what happened, don't you think I would've been mad at you instead of coming to comfort you like I did?"
"Or me?" Tori asked.
"Right, you said you knew the curse" Erika recalled.
"One of the many advantages of hanging out with a daughter of Iris" Teresa said.
"Was that a compliment?" I asked.
"I don't know, I'll let you know when I figure that out"
That made Erika and her sister chuckle a bit, and I was glad we cheered them up. Suddenly, we heard Rachel groaning.
"I think a prophecy is coming up!" She said through the groans.

And it did, seconds later, she spoke these words:

"The one that lost returns once more,
The Earth Queen's plans shall fail as before,
The mortals will find what once was theirs,
As royal blood decides the heir"

Then, Rachel looked as if she recovered.
"You okay?" John asked.
"Ugh, I'm fine, that headache gets annoying at times"
"That 'annoying headache' might have just saved our demigod butts, we just have to know what it means"
"The one that lost returns once more, she means me obviously" Veronica pointed out.
"Right, but what about the rest?"

Whew! 1055 words in 12 pages!!! That's the farthest I've ever gotten! That's awesome!!! I hope you guys liked it!
