~Derek POV ~ I saw Mel walked into the kitchen. I looked around to see some of my basketball team and my mom here talking with Mel's mom. I looked back at Paige and looked a her beautiful face . I loved her so much that I told her about Mel and I , and how we were each other first that it was a mistake. it didn't mean a anything and we are just friends that all. She took it hard at first and was okay with it. I told her I loved her and she's I wanted . meant every word until these thought and feeling start popping up making me conflicted. I am going to go talk to the guys from the team I will be right back, go help yourself.
~Third party POV ~
I noticed Paige walked into the kitchen and grabbed a soda and walked around when she over heard Mel and Peter by the pool talking about her and Derek. How he knows that Peter and Mel had sex. How Derek to stupid to not notice her and his feelings towards her. He talked about how perfected they would be together. He also told her that he can tell that she was in love with Derek based on how she looks at him. Peter told Mel that she need to tell Derek how she truly feels before it's to late. After that Paige walked off and decided to come up with a plan to keep them apart by making Derek hate Mel that he won't believe anything she say.
~ Amelia POV ~
After my conversation with peter I walked back in the house and saw Derek mother Talia she walked over to me and gave me a hug " happy birthday sweetie " she said and gave me a envelop and told me to put it up and open it later. I nodded and then I saw my parents walking up with a smile on their faces. What ? I said curious of what was they smiling about. We got you a car, said dad. Oh my gosh seriously ? I asked as my mom held up the kids. I scream jumping up and down grabbed the kids and ran out side and there I saw it .

Oh my gosh I love it , thank you both as I hold my parents and ran over to the car. I walked around checking it out and opened the door and looked at the inside.

Oh my gosh, u look back and everyone was watching. I got in the car and sat in the driver set admiring the car. I see why my dad was teaching me how to drive every weekend. Very nice a familiar voice said , when I looked up it Was Derek. Thank you I said , as her sat in the passenger sit. Mel I am going to take Paige home see you later okay ? And enjoy your night he said. I nodded, as he got out the car.
