Chapter 11 : Repairing a broken relationships

A/n : Derek is trying to fix his friendship with Amelia, boyfriend gets caught cheating on her .

( 2 weeks and 3 days went past)
~Amelia POV~

I would up to the sound of my alarm clock, I rolled over to turn it off. I sighs, today is Thursday which means one more day of school left until summer break. I cannot wait, I set up and jump out the bed to take a quick shower then put on my dress and sandles. I sprayed on my Paris Hilton perfume, went down stairs to eat cereal for breakfast.
After breakfast I grabbed my book bag and head out the door to my car. When I got a text from Josh with a silly face😜 and blowing kiss face 😘 I smiled and started my car up and drove off to school. Derek has his best to talk to me, but I avoided him every chance I could. A part of me wants to hear him out but the other half is refuses to after what he said. I mean his girlfriend died a few months ago. I wanted so bad to text or call him but couldn't bring myself to do it.

I finally pulled up to the school I got out the car into the school. The day went by a little quick its already 5 period now. when I walked the hall after the bell ranged. I seen Derek in the hallway at his locker when I heard a moaning sounds coming from the janitor closet. I wasn't sure if I should open it or not. I decided to go for it and open the door, when I saw josh having sex with my best friend Ashley I dropped my book and grasped. They didn't notice I was standing there until I dropped my book. I was so pissed I balled my fist up, and I ran off. I could hear was josh voice yelling my name as I ran.

~ Derek POV ~

As I stand at my locker I notice Mel was opening up the door to the janitor closet, I heard her grasp as she dropped her book and ran off. I walked towards that way when I heard Josh calling Mel I saw as he was adjusting his pants as he walked out the closet with Ashley. I snapped and punched him in face twice and ran after Mel following her scent. She was on the LA crosse field under the bleachers crying. I hate seeing her cry then I felt because , I did that to her as well a few months ago.

I walked over to her , when she wiped her face and looked up at me. What? Are you here to gloat about my cheat boyfriend? She said as she starts back crying . no never , I said as I sat beside her. She broker down cried on my shoulder, I couldn't help but to put my arms around her and comfort her. After a few mins I asked her did she want to ditch for the rest of the day and do something she nods and we walked to her car.

We drove up to this looks little river we use to go to as kids, that has a water fall. It surrounded by trees, flowers with sea animal statues it was peaceful. One of my favorite place to be besides hanging out with Mel. I looked at her as she looks at the water fall as she tries not to cry. I am sorry, about what I did and said to you. You were my friends and I shouldn't have treated you that way. I know you must still hate me and for what its worth I hate me too for that. I should have believed you, you never lie to me before and I got caught up in my own world that I couldn't see straight. I am also sorry for what you just went through with josh.

Stop apologizing.. She said as she looked at the ground. Saying you sorry doesn't undo the things you did or said,she said. I know and I want to make it up to you, I know I will have earn your forgiveness and trust I will do my best to make that happen and make it up to you.

~ Amelia POV ~

I looked at him confused why was he trying to be my friend again all of a sudden, no what I don't care at the moment. My stupid ex boyfriend, I bet he did this because I did not want to have sex with him yet because I wasn't ready. He doesn't know about me and Derek , I kept that to myself for a reason. That's between him and I . I'm not sure what Derek wants from me, we have been friends for quite a while now. I am willing to give him another chance being friends. Thank God it's Friday so I don't have to see Josh or Ashley this whole weekend no school Monday.
