Chapter 10 : Truth and being sorry

A/N : this is about after Derek finds out the truth about paige, his grief for Paige and rebuilding his relationship with Amelia.

( Days went by) and Derek is still mad at her giving her nasty looks , bumps into her hard in the hallway everyday him and Paige pointing and laughing at her.

~Amelia POV ~

I am starting to hate this school more and more each day. I spent time in my room and in the girl restroom crying for 3 to 4 days straight until I couldn't any more. I refuse to let them keep me down, they deserve each and everything that comes they way. I just don't care anymore, I will never become friends with Derek Hale ever again. No one can ever talk me into that not my parents , his mom or his uncle I mean no one. I hate being in the same room with him if I could avoid it I would.

My thoughts was interrupted by my friends Emily and Shay asking me do I want to catch a movie tonight, they wanted to got see the new X-Men movie that comes out today. Umm... I don't know I said, please... Pretty please this will be good for you to get out sometimes melia she said. They always call me that. Fine , I will try to meet you guys there at 6:30p OK I said. Emily jumps up and down and hugs me great see you then she said.

( fast forward to end of school day after watching practice its starting to getting dark)

I notice it getting dark after saying good bye to some of my other friends when I walked through the school parking lot and heard a growl sound coming from behind me , I looked around me to see nothing. So I started to walk fast, I heard it again it sound closer then before. I looked back to see glowing yellow eyes my eyes widen and I ran to my car when I was scratch on my back and knock to the ground. I looked up at this yellow eye monster with long claw, it was to dark to see its face.

When all of a sudden another figure came out of now where eyes glowing blue grabs the monster and ran off into the woods before it hurt me more. I was relieved I was so scared I got up ran to my car , got in and drove off to my house.

~Peter POV ~

I saw Derek in the school parking lot on a full moon attacking Amelia, I ran to him pulling him off her grabbed him and run into the woods. What the hell are you doing Derek ? You not suppose to be outside until you learn to control yourself. You are so pissed at Amelia that you was willing to hurt her ? I said. What is with you, I said. I cannot stand a bunch of liars , like you and her know get out of my room, he said. You know what you are on your, for now on seen you can't stand a bunch of liars,I said as I walked off.

( fast forward two weeks..... Peter and Amelia not talking to him anymore.)

~ Amelia POV ~

I've been hanging with Emily and Shay more and everyday laughing and playing hanging out with few lacrosse players one of them actually likes me his name is Josh and he asked me out for tomorrow night and I agreed to it. I am looking for to it actually with his Sandie blonde hair and green eyes and its looks to be 6'0 ft tall. We all sitting at the lunch table outside, eating in talking and every 10 or 15 second I catch Derek looking or glaring at me for some reason and I don't care actually.

( fast foward to after school, Derek and Paige both have practice)

~Derek POV ~

Some of the alphas and their pack been in town for a couple days now, I don't think anything good can come from this I was in the boys locker room getting ready to leave, when one of the when I heard a scream, I ran up the hallway to see what it was, it was Paige laying on the stairs holding her side yelling help. Then I saw Enis one of the alpha he looked back and smiled at me, I was so mad I charged at him. He grabbed me by my throat and slammed me to the ground. Forcing me to watch Paige, I was so mad her body can accept the bite or rejected it and die. After awhile I got free of him and grabbed Paige running towards the house. He hidden in the shed by the house, I was holding her. Her body was rejecting the bite and she's dying I helping easy some of the pain away. When she ask me to end it, that she couldn't hold on any longer. I did as she asked, and she died in my arms. I felt a change in me, when I heard foot steps . as I walked back and forward with Paige in my arms and my eyes clothes. I heard my mom voice telling me to open my eyes, I told her my eyes are different . I opened my eyes and they glowed blue.

( fast forward past Paige's funeral and Derek's grieving stage. From the end of sopomore year to the beginning of senior year. now at the point where Derek is trying to repair his relationship with Peter and Amelia both )

~Derek POV ~

If I am going to make things up to Peter and Mel. I've Been a dick to them for the past two months in 4 days. They have no reason to for give me but I can a least try. Peter is kind of easy, but Mel that would be a challenge. I kept replaying all the mean stuff I said to her, heck I would be mad at me to if I was her. I have to start with her first. I walked into the school the next day, I saw her standing at the locker talking to Josh before he went to class. I walked up to her, I just wanted to apologize ... I started to say, She gave me a look close her locker and walked off. In class she I tried to sit near her she move across the room. In study has she put on her head phone as I set across from her, she ignored me and got up an left. At lunch I walked over to where she normally sit listening to music as she got up. She walked over to josh table and sat beside him giving him a kiss on the lips. She ignoring me, I have to find a way to get her alone to apologize . Mel must have felt me watching her because she glared back at me. I have to admit I missed being around her. I felt like I could tell her almost everything going on about me.

When we was kids we were always together. We slept over each other house in the same bed or sometimes in the same up until that night we had sex. I could tell I hurt her feeling when I said it did not mean anything, and the truth is I was scared that things was going to change between us in a bad way...
