Chapter 17 : living in the moment

This is the morning after Derek and Amelia had sex . They decided to spend the day with each other getting to learn more about werewolves.

~ Derek POV~

I woke up to a sleeping Amelia laying on my chest. Looking beautiful as ever, I couldn't imagine my life with out her. I just laid there and stared at her while she sleeps I smiled and brush her out of her face. She smiled and woke up. " Hey beautiful" I said as she smiled and blushed. Let's take a shower so we can spend the day together. She nodded at me and we got out the bed.

~ Amelia POV ~

I am so happy right now I can't describe the feeling I have at the moment. But it feels really good though. I really in love with Derek, I smiled just thinking about it. Then I noticed he was naked body, I thought to my self wow he so hot. " Like what you see ? " He said and I nodded yes. As went into to the bathroom a hour and thirty minute shower after having sex again while taking a shower. I dried myself off and put on my clothes from the night before. After we both got dress we walked out the room and down the hall holding hands as we walked down stairs for breakfast.

Talia was cooking while Laura and Peter sitting at the kitchen table.  Peter had a smirk on his face. " So... you two enjoyed your night so far " As a hint as if he knew what happened. "That's none of your business Peter drop it" said Derek. Peter laughed "fine, but I have one question?" He said. "How was the mating process? " Said Peter.  "Peter!!!" Said Laura, Talia , Derek at the same time,  he chuckled "fine I will dropped it." I nodded and Derek and I both sat at the kitchen table as Talia walked over to the kitchen table with a big plate of pancakes and bacon. She then went back to get the eggs and orange juice as everyone starts to eat breakfast soon as Derek father walks in. " So...Amelia how are your parents ? " Derek's father asked. "They are doing fine Mr. Hale" I said, "no please call me John I insist" he said. I nodded okay John", I said as I smiled. "How are you Amelia? Asked Talia , I am good thanks for asking." So what are you crazy kids up to today? Asked Laura. "Nothing much probably go to movies with friends , and go get some pizza the usual" said Derek.

( Fast forward the rest of the day after the movies still Amelia pov)

"Hey let's all get tattoo? Shay suggested.  What ? We are not getting tattoo's" said Emily. I'm in I said, Derek looked at me to see if I was serious in which I am. Let's go I said as we walked across the street to the tattoo parlor. Everyone got theirs besides derek and I. Emily said they will meet us a the pizza place when we are done, i nodded as they left. So what do you want to get ? Derek asked. I thought of something and went with it.  I want a infinity sign that says always and forever DH & AB. As the guy finishes up my tattoo on my back, Derek kept looking at him for some reason. "Hey I know you don't I? Said Derek.  Yeah, you  should I am from Deucalion pack and this is my tattoo shop my name is mike". I knew you looked familiar. "So... what tattoo you want kid?" said Mike. Derek set in the chair thinking , hmm... I actually want two if you don't mind.  " I want matching one like hers on my leg and I want the design for each stage of a werewolf  alpha, omega, and beta on my back" said Derek. The main nodded and hands Derek a mouth piece to put in his mouth while he pulled a blow torch for derek. My eyes wide, why do you need that I asked Mike.  " Werewolves heals quickly so getting a regular tattoo will not work for him this is the only way" he said. I took a deep breath and looked at Derek. " It's OK Mel, remember always and forever" he said as I nodded yes. Derek put the mouth piece into his mouth and bite down on it as mike started on his tattoo.  15 mins in mike finished the tattoo on his leg and next was his back.  As mike begin to work on Derek back tattoo I could no long listen to Derek yelling in pain so I decided to keep his mind off it by kissing him deeply on the lips. It's working Derek was no long focusing on the pain but on our passionate kiss and we kissed for 10 mins until mike was done. We pulled apart caught our breathes as Derek stood up and pulled his shirt down. As he pulled his shirt down I noticed his back tattoo started to heal like a regular tattoo does.  We paid mike and left the shop met up with our friends and at pizza.

  From the moment forward Derek and I been closer then ever before a few weeks later I found out i was pregnant with our first child a little girl. Both our parents supported our discussion to keep baby which we name Claire Talia Hale. After my grandmother and Derek's mom. We help raise her along with both families protecting her from other werewolves and hunters who wish to cause harm to our family and town.
