Chapter 13 : secret revived about derek

~Amelia POV~

Derek and I walked back to the car. We had so much fun , I would a couple of prizes and Derek won me a teddy bear. I thought it was kind of him, but I wonder what game is he playing with me. Was he trying to be my friends again or try to hurt me again. The trust I use to have with Derek was broken between us. The day he did not trust me and side with Paige instead of me. By now most people would be like get over that shit by now. Normally I would but this was my best friend since we were practically in diapers, he was my first friend, my first kiss , my first crush and my first. That's why when he did what he did it hurt me, to be rejected by a random is one thing but when that guy is your best friend is totally different. But for some reason I am drawn to him, and every time I am near him. My heart best fast, my hands becomes sweaty and I always try to avoid as much eye contact as I possibly can. By. Looking at my hands , feet , other people and glance when he is not work..

~ skip, it been almost 2 month now~

~ Derek POV ~

It almost been almost two months since Mel and I have been hanging lately getting back to how we use to be as friends. My plans on making us become more then friends was starting to work.We had 3 moments of us almost about to kiss her. But if this is going to work I have to tell her about me and my family. I am planning on tell her today after school, after basketball practice. I just hope I do not scare her away, I don't think I could handle that. I cannot lose her, but I am afraid if I tell her that I was the one who attacked her she will be pissed at me. I don't know what to do but , I know I cannot lie to her forever I love her. I have to tell her tonight, before she sees one of us and freaks out.

~ Amelia POV ~

Derek and I spent the whole catching up on our child hood and we order in . Its 7pm and I could tell derek had something on his mind he wanted to tell me. Because every time her open his mouth he clothes and shakes it off. So I decided to be the one to ask him what's wrong.
"Derek ?" I said.
"Yeah ?" He said, "what's wrong?" I said. Nothing why you ask ? He said. Because it look like you have something to tell me but, you keep talking yourself out of it so, just tell me. I said, he looks down and nods his head and beings to talk. Well , I have to tell you a secret but it not just my secret its my family secret, he said. " "okay then just tell me then" I said. " well my family or a little different, we are werewolves," he said. I chuckled , yeah are you yanking my chain? I said. " "No Mel I am serious here" he said. "Okay, then show me then " I said as he nods head and turns around. He took a deep breath , I saw hair growing on the side of his face as he beings to turn around. We he fully turn around I jumped and grasped. He had a hair grown from the side of his face , fangs , glowing yellow eyes and claws. I stepped closer to him slowly in order to feel his face. I reached my hand to his face and felt his eye brows as well as cheeks. "Does it hurts? I asked. He shooked head no, " Wow" I said as I looked into his eyes. In that moment I had a flash back memory,( of when I was in the school parking lot getting attacked from behind and he thing had the same type of eyes) I backed up quick away from him. He saw my reaction, and turn back normal. "Please don't be scared Mel" he said." I am not scared of you Derek!" I said. He looked relieved. Then what's wrong? He asked. It's just that I was attacked at school by something with the same type of eyes." I said. He looks down and beings to speak. " yeah , about that I am so sorry for that. I was pissed and I attacked you because of the whole thing with Paige." He said. " What ? " I said as I felt my self getting angry fast. " So, you were the thing that attacked me , giving me nightmares and afraid to be outside for a month? I said" he walked over to me and reached for my hands. "no, don't touch me , I want you to get out." I said. "Mel please , I am sorry let me explain he said. " " explain what ? Why you try to kill me because of a some girl who you wouldn't be together with forever. I loved you I wouldn't have never harmed you I said as tears roll down my face. Please get out don't call , text me or come near me, I don't want anything to do with you any more Derek" I said as I ignored everything thing he said until he left my house.

The last thing he said, was " I love you and I am sorry Mel." I looked the door behind him and ran upstairs to my room and cry my self to sleep.

A/N: I really hope you guys are enjoying it. Next chapter it will be a time jump 4 years in the future after derek moved after the death of his mother Talia. By the way his sister laura is still alive in my version. Now derek is back and he is 23 and she is 22 going on 23 in 2 weeks.
