"Ayumi!! Sorry I'm late! I had a photo shoot that I just had to finish."

You groan as she stops infront of you, and you let out a small sigh before putting on your fake smile.

"Y-yea, it's fine. Work first."

You answer, secretly happy that you would have to spend an hour less with her.

"Thank you so much for understanding hon!"

She says as she grabs your hands and pulls you to your feet, causing you to internally groan. Hon. You hated when girls used that with each other. It sounded so fake and peppy, and it was one of those words that made you irrationally angry when it was said. Especially by Misa. She then without wasting time drags you into the massive shopping centre and spends the time mainly trying on clothes while she made you wait, along with looking in pretty much every other store that was there.

It wasn't so bad you suppose, but having to basically chase her around and hold the bags wasn't incredibly great. You absently think about this as you try on some random lipstick in a makeup store she insisted on going in, honestly just wanting to go home.

And to think L wants this to be a regular thing...

You grumpily think to yourself as you frown, putting the tester away and looking at your lips, immediately deciding it wasn't your colour. The rest of the afternoon dragged by while you frankly hated every second of it, and you sigh with relief when you check the time to see that it was almost time to go home.

You suppose the day wasn't complete torture, because you found one thing that you liked at least. All it was was a cool tee shirt and a nice small black journal you found at a store you always went to when you shopped for clothes and other things. When you walk up to the till to pay for it, you fish around in your backpack to find your wallet. Once your hand finally finds it and you pull out your credit card, you realize that...It wasn't yours. When you look around in your wallet again as you step out of the line, you find a small slip of paper with the code on it. Immediately you knew what someone had done. Letting out a long sigh, you fish around until you find a crumpled 50 dollar bill, and you grumble a little as you pay with that. You didn't want to spend L's money. And he had taken your card so you would have to if you found something you completely adored. You sigh as you are handed the bag and the change, and you carefully put his card back in the slot of your wallet, making sure it was in there securely. You were absolutely paranoid about things like these.

"So, you wanna go get some bubble tea before we start thinking about heading home?"

You her a high pitched voice say, pulling you from your thoughts as you unzip your backpack, placing the bag and your wallet into the worn interior.

"O-oh, sure."

You answer as you look over. You then silently make your way over to a small kiosk where the tea was sold, and you go ahead and order your favourite type as you put all the heavy bags down. You sigh as you do this, happy that your arms could finally have a rest. As you waited for the people to make your drinks, you have a small conversation centred around boys and girly things, as she wasn't capable of talking or thinking about anything else.

"You know, When I first saw Light I totally knew I was in love. What about you Ayu? Do you believe in love at first sight? I certainly do."
