After an extra long walk back to your apartment (stopping for food at your favorite fast food place to make yourself feel better along the way) you eventually drag yourself home and immediately slump down on the couch, stuffing your face into a pillow. You then spend a few hours trying to relax and get the day off your mind as you listened to the clock that ticked monotonously across the room, for some reason unable to get comfortable despite how much you needed it. Eventually you roll over and stare at the ceiling, still thinking about what Blake said to you a mere few hours ago. You stay there unmoving for only a few moments more before you hear the door of your apartment swing open, soon followed by someone coming inside.

"Mei?"

You call out as you sit up. You look at the door for awhile, and eventually see Blake walk into your place.

"What do you want."

You bluntly ask, still furious at him from earlier. Before he answers, the smell of alcohol reaches your nose, making you tense up a bit.

"I hope you came to your senses."

He says, slightly slurring. He was drunk. Not out of his mind or to the point where he was completely incoherent, but he definitely had one too many. You stay frozen for a moment, but soon take a deep breath, fed up with how he thought you 'belonged' to him like some sort of item, and figured you needed to speak up and say what needed to be said, not even caring what state he was in. You get up from the couch and face him, clenching your fists.

"Yea? well I hope you came to your shallow senses at let me see my friends! Honestly Blake, why do you have such a huge problem with it?! Just because he's a guy doesn't automatically mean I'm cheating you know!"

You snap back, getting angry. he takes a step towards you, and Before you can process anything, you feel sharp pain go across your face.

He had just hit you. Hard.

At that moment, words couldn't even describe the stew of feelings you felt. Fear was definitely the most predominant though, causing you to instinctively step backwards from him. Before he has the chance to say anything to you, you were out the door. You didn't even bother to grab your coat or anything else. Thoughts and questions whip wildly through your mind as you quickly make your way down the stairs, and you honestly had absolutely no idea where to go or what to do about this unexpected little issue. After awhile of wildly thinking of where you could possibly go, you then focus in on the smudged ink on your hand of L's address, suddenly remembering that he had given it to you not long ago. Surprisingly, it was fairly close to your place, making you pick up the pace in the freezing night air.

You soon find yourself at a small but very nice apartment building, almost certain this was it. You hated to barge in on people on short notice...But at least this time you had a fairly good excuse.

"Number...11...?"

You mumble to yourself as you squint at your writing and then skim your eyes up and down the building. You finally spot it on the second floor and immediately dart up to it, feeling like a block of ice when you finally get there. You then knock quietly and patiently wait for a response, quickly remembering to cover the side of your face that was slightly injured with your hair. A little bit of waiting, and eventually a dark haired figure opens the door.

"(y/n)? What are you doing out here so late without a jacket? It's freezing outside."

He questions as he keeps the door to his apartment open. You look up to him, making him instantly clue into the fact that you've been crying, and without one word between you he gently takes your hand and pulls you inside the heated atmosphere, shutting the door softly behind you. Without skipping a beat or asking one question, he wraps the other arm around your waist and starts running one of his hands through your hair as he brings you in just a little closer. You then grab onto the fabric of his shirt as your whole body started to shake, and you soon start crying into him like an idiot. He just holds you in his arms without saying a thing until you calm down just a little, and you eventually feel him slowly move his head to your ear.
