Screaming woke you from your sleep. You'd been asleep less than an hour and chaos was already breaking loose. You bounced to your legs and ran towards Frisk.

"Frisk!" You called. "Frisk say something!"

"(Y/N)! Help!"

You followed the voice. Frisk had wondered away far enough to meet the floating platforms that spanned the water mass of Waterfalls. He was running with the phone in hand, barely dodging the spears of greenish blue. Your legs carried you inhumanly fast.

"Undyne stop! Don't hurt him!" You yelled, gaze snapping towards the armored attacker.

She looked at you and snarled, soon turning it into a malicious grin. "Two souls means Alphys can have one for experimenting." She mused.

A spear appeared from below and you jumped. It cut deeply into your leg but the pain seemed numb as you ran towards Frisk. He was slowing down but the spears were still relentless. You closed the distance to about three feet when you saw blue glow beneath him.

"Frisk jump!" You screamed.

He looked down with wide eyes. You shoved him away from the light, putting you just above the arising spear. Even though you twisted enough to avoid a fatal blow, the spear left a deep gash on your cheek. Your recently replenished HP was now down to 2/20. The continued bleeding in your leg made it even worse.

Your gaze fixed in Undyne once again. Your voice came out more pleading than threatening as you spoke. "You can have my soul, but do NOT touch Frisk if you want to survive Undyne."

She froze when I said her name. "Ha! I'm guessing Papyrus told you about me?" He bragged.

You shook your head. "I just know how to get info."

Sans was still on the phone. You glanced at it to see Sans panicked expression. "Kid? Come on, hold on just a little longer. Someone will come help you..."

You grinned with bloody teeth. "False hope ain't gonna do anything for my HP Sans. Temporary hit points don't exist."

Frisk looked horrified by you bloody form. You looked after Frisk and motioned for the phone. He handed it to you and as you took it, you threw him into the air. A spear skewed, where he WAS, at an angle so it hit you square in the gut. Blood spilled over you lips and you put your attention back on Frisk.

"Go to Hotlands and find the lab. A dinosaur like monster lives there and she'll probably helped you. There a keycard in the pocket of my coat. Use it if the building won't allow you."

"(Y/N) you're hurt!" Frisk cried.

"Well you can't help me by staying and dying. Go!"

Frisk was shocked still a moment but soon turned and ran. Behind you Undyne had jumped on to the platform and was making her way towards Frisk. You grabbed her leg with a hand, the other cradling your puncture wound.

"Undyne stop!" You coughed, blood flecking the floating platform. "He's only eight."

She tried to shake off your arm. "So? It's you two that are keeping us from our dream."

"What's keeping you from your dream is one human soul. It looks like you already have a dying human on your hands, so don't even DARE go after Frisk."

Undyne laughed. "What are you going to do about it?" She asked.

You hadn't ever known her before the monsters came to the surface, it scares you seeing her so... Cold. You shook in both pain and terror. "I-I'll kill you. Tell me Undyne, how old is Monster Kid?"
