Manik (thought to himself) : How could u do that Varun, u were my best buddy.. How could u? when everybody was against u, I stood by u.. I believed u... He stopped the car at side.. he ran his hand over his face & tried distracting himself, he closed his eyes nd next what he saw made him smile instantly...
He saw her face, how she makes all kind of cute expressions while talking & chuckled remember their talks.. He again started driving but this time with a bright smile on his face...

He entered Malhotra mansion & saw his mom Nyonika talking on phone.. He told a servant to take the luggage inside & went towards his mom, he back-hugged her & she smiled widely instantly recognizing her son... She kept the phone quickly, turned towards him & hugged him again tightly then breaking the hug she kissed his forehead & said "How is my baby??"
Manik - "I'm awesome mom ! but I missed u alot" He side-huged her & sat on the couch... "Waise, where's dad?"
Nyonika - "He's in office beta, actually he took a day off first as u r coming but he had to go for an urgent meeting"
Manik - "It's ok mom, I can understand" He said & smiled.
They talked for awhile then Manik went to rest for sometime... He woke up after 4 hours, freshened up & went down.. And he was tackled by a massive hug, which he exactly knew by whom it was...
Manik - "Cabirrray"
Cabir - "Hii Manik.. Kaisa hai??"
Manik - "Main toh thik hu saale par tu kya, tu shaadi kr rha hai.. I mean The CABIR Dhawan is getting married... College mein toh bada kehta tha 'C'mon guys, kon shaadi krke bali ka bakra banega, Main toh kabhi nhi karungi but haan tum sab ki shaadi mein I'll be there to eat free ka khana' " He said reminding him of his own words..
Cabir - "Haan haan ab tu bhi mera mazaak udaa le.." He said with fake annoyance but deep down he missed his best friend's teasing... "but on a serious note yaar, I missed u a lot"
Manik - "I missed u too but ab tu., kiss toh nhi krega na..??" He said raising his eyebrows.
Cabir - "Saale gale bhi ni lagunga" then Manik pulled him in a hug again.
Cabir - "Achha sunn, We all have selected clothes for u jab main shopping pe gaya tha toh aunty ko leke gya tha coz I knew tu late hi aayega US se.. kya yaar I thought meri shaadi hai toh mera best friend at least 3 weeks pehle aayega but tu..." He said making a fake disappointed face.
Manik (guilty) - "Sorry yaar tujhe pta hai na kitni saari meetings lined up thi & saara pending work khatam krna tha before ur marriage... I'm very sor-"
