"Manik! Batao na.." I asked him for the n'th time about where we're going, yet got the same response from him.
"Nope."
"Please. Please, pretty please!"
"Nah-ah. Not gonna happen, sweetheart."
I huffed, "Fine." I turned my head towards the window.
"We're here." He told me as he pulled up. It was an open area, kind of like a jungle. I shot him a confused glance which he returned with a reassuring smile. He held out his hand and I grabbed it immediately, matching his steps.
"Careful! There are branches all over here.." I nodded walking cautiously, while clutching his hand tightly.
"Maaaniikk..." I whined, "Aur kitni der?"
"Bas thodi door aur.." He repeated the line which he said just 20 minutes before.
"You said that before also." I said crossing my arms. What? He works out so much & has a very high stamina which I clearly don't have.
"Okay. C'mon! I'll give you a piggyback ride.." He bent down a little in front of me.
"Nahi. You'll pull your back or something, I'm heavy." He shrugged motioning me to hop on quickly, which I complied with a long face.

"Huh! And you said you're heavy?! You weigh like a feather sweetheart." My cheeks heated at that. God! This guy can make ne blush with anything he says.
We walked slowly, deeper into the forest and all I could see was trees. Nothing else! When suddenly he halted his steps, gesturing me to get down slowly and removed the plants in front of us, telling me to go between them to the other side.
"Manik, yeh kya hai-" I stopped speaking as soon as I saw what is in front of me, "Wow!" I stared in disbelief and turned towards him to see him grinning, "A Cliff?! Where'd you find a place like this??"

He shrugged sitting down and patting the seat next to him for me to sit. I complied, gesturing him to continue, "We fab 5 had our first fight that day and I didn't know where to go.. I was beyond angry at that time. I couldn't go to my house, mom-dad would've asked me so many questions. So I was just driving aimlessly when I saw this jungle. There were many jungles on the way but this, this seemed different cause there were fireflies here. My feet themselves started following the fireflies and they just led me here. Since then this has been my place. My favourite place!"
