Nandini's POV :

Friday came sooner than anticipated, my trip with Manik today, and I still haven't fully packed my clothes yet.

"Nandini, chill out! Stop stressing over packing.." Alya said as she took another bite of her cookie. The girls and I went shopping yesterday, which should have made this a lot more easier but packing has always been one of my biggest flaws.

"Haan yaar Nandu! Would you even need clothes?" Mukti said teasing me causing me to blush and hide my face in embarrassment.

All the girls laughed, finding amusement in teasing me. "Guys stop it na.." My voice came out as a whine, even though I was smiling.

"Arre haan! Nandu, take this!" Navya suddenly exclaimed handing me a paper bag. I was about to open it, when she stopped me. "Nahi, Nandu! This is our gift to you for your birthday. So open on your birthday only, okay?" The other girls nodded in agreement with her.

I eyed them suspiciously, "O..kay. Now can you all please help me pack!"

Finally after a long hour of fun and teasing, I finished packing with their help.

"Uff! Thank god it's done.. Now I don't even want to think about how Manik must be packing." I said, and laughed imagining him struggling to pack as the girls too started laughing with me.

"Nandini! Manik is here!" I heard Chachi calling ne from downstairs.

I quickly rushed down causing me to slip when, Manik quickly held me, stopping me from falling.

I looked at his eyes and he looked at me but of course the idiot had to ruin the moment. He burst out laughing along with the audience we had - Mukti, Alya & Navya - and I immediately straightened pushing him back.

I huffed, when they did not stop laughing even after a few moments. "Ugh! You guys are so annoying! Main change karne ja rhi hu, bye!"

I changed into a pair of back leggings with my huge 'I Love Pizza' sweatshirt and quickly wore my sneakers before making my way out.

And the sight that greeted me was too sweet. Manik was holding Vivaan in his arms while Vihaan was trying to get his attention.

His eyes darted to mine as he heard me come and he gave me his breathtaking smile. "Nandini see na, he is smiling at me! I think he likes me.."

I giggled at how excited he looked, "Of course Mani, who in the world can not like you?!" I said as I took Vihaan in my arms. "Achha, where are the girls?"

"Oh they had to go home and Mukti asked me to take care of these two 'troublemakers'. Her words, not mine." He told me shrugging while making silly faces at Vivaan.

"Okay. And when is our flight? I realized later on that you took back my ticket and didn't even tell me when we were leaving?"

"We will be leaving in.... 20 minutes." He said smiling sheepishly as I stared at him in disbelief.

"Are you serious?! Oh my god! I haven't rechecked if I have everything, Mani! Passport! Shit, where did I keep it, left or right?! And-"

"Sunshine! Shh.. You have packed everything. And your passport is there on the dressing table. Don't worry, if you forgot anything we'll buy it there." His voice immediately calmed me and I took a deep breath relaxing myself and took the passport to put it in the bag.

"You're right! There's no need to panic. I just get kinda anxious." I told him whispering, taking note of the fact that the babies were asleep.

We took the babies to their room and turned on the baby monitor, before leaving the room. We hugged everyone and after putting our bags in the trunk of his car, left for the airport.
