"Bill!" Ford yelled "You lied to me, where does that portal really lead"

"Oh ho! Looks like Mr. Brainiac finally got smart"

[Bill's P.O.V.]

I sighed as I was stuck in my dimension. It is so boring here. It's just white for endless miles....."what to do." I asked myself, pulling my eye out and looking at the time on it. Ever since sixer had figured out what the portal actually had in store he tore it apart. Leaving me stuck here.

Those days with Fordsy were actually enjoyable, watching him suffer and all. I don't know. Even a demon with knowledge superior to many can't even do anything to amuse himself...what a pain.

[Ford's P.O.V.]

My life's work...all to waist... I still couldn't bear what had happened.

I destroyed the portal with the first chance I got. But something was still left. It was what I call a rift. It would be very dangerous if it ever broke, splitting our dimensions and causing chaos between worlds.

I haven't had much to do around lately due to the portal mishap with Bill.

With nothing left I was left with nothing to do. I had to cure my boredom somehow, and fast.

Finally I decided to go on a walk in the woods. Hopefully I would find something new to kill my misery. I got on my hiking boots and walked down my familiar trail into the woods. It was always so quiet. I enjoyed the silence of the woods almost more than anything else.

But the silence was interrupted. From a distance I could hear something groaning. Not recognising the sound as any creatures in my journals I quickly rushed to the sight of the noise.

When I got to the sound noting was to be seen but a large thorn bush. Maybe it was a monster that could camouflage into it's surroundings or maybe it was indistinguishable to the human eye! This was getting exciting!

My thoughts were ceased when I saw a hand reach out from the bush, but not just any monser hand, a human hand. I quickly rushed over to the thorn bush and carefully moved some of the vines out of the way. After some time I found a man completely covered and caught in the bush, thorns sticking in every inch of him.

"Oh god!" I said grabbing a pocket knife I had with me and cutting some of the larger vines off of him. When I finally got him free I searched him, scanning my eyes over him. He was bleeding on every limb, arms, legs, face, you name it. One of his pants legs was gone up to his knee and also a sleeve was missing on his long sleeve shirt. Not to mention the thorns that had broken off the bush and were still in his skin.

"Are you ok?" I asked him as regained consciousness and sat up."Yah" he said. He looked up at me and smiled.

He had shortish blond hair that combed to one side of his face and one yellow-gold eye on the right and the other was..... a dark grey? I would have asked but I didn't want to be rude. Other than his eye being odd he looked short for his age, which I guessed was his early twenties. I would say he was around 5'5"

Somehow, out of the blue he looked familiar... like i was drawing a connecrion to someone else... I was probably just mistaking him for McGucket. He was short as well. Plus being alone for a year doesn't help.

I looked at the blood trickling down his arms. "How long have you been in there?" I asked. He thought for a minute and shrugged "Probably for about a good sixteen hours" he smiled as if it happened to him every day.

"You wounds might be infected and their are still thorns sticking out of you, you need medical attention" I said a bit of worried for his condition.

"Nah I'm good, I can fend!" He said over confidently. He got on his feet and tried to take one step, ending up landing straight on his face.

"Shit" I said turning him over. He was out cold. What the hell was this man doing in the thorn bush in the first place? He didn't look like a creature or demon like the ones in my notes. He looked like just a normal, average, everyday human. This was interesting, really interesting.

That's when I smiled, realizing that I had found a cure to my boredom. And with that I picked up the man who oddly was as light as a feather and made my way back home.
