"No, no, no, no!" I yelled, feeling absolutely furious. "Why isn't this working!?" Scolding my nonexsistant project for not serving it's purpose. After my new housemate decided to test them out I came to the conclusion that the tie's connection only worked for about a minute. It should have worked much longer than that, it was just another defective project of mine.

Obviously infuriated beyond all belief I stood up from my chair abruptly, making it crash onto the ground. "Damn you, why won't you work!?" I was on the edge of insanity at this point and was currently in the process of ripping out my hair.

"Woah, harsh words coming from such a 'clean' man" Not listening to his sarcastic comment as my friend entered I picked my chair back up and plopped down in it, moving my hands up my face and to my hair.

"Shut up" I groaned, not wanting to hear his smartass remarks at the moment. Obviously not getting the hint he pulled up a chair, sitting backwards on it and leaned on my desk. "Dude chill, I was just joking" He said, throwing me a lopsided smile. "I don't care." I added, my tone cold as cold as his body temperature.

"Still can't fix those ties can ya?" He laughed, almost as if this were a joke. "Yes, and I've been at it for seventeen hours straight!" Obviously I had gotten my point through to him because he shut up when I slammed my fists onto the table. "You think you can fix it?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow at him. "Sure why not." He shrugged casually, which pissed me off more.

I stood up and offered him my seat "Be my guest" I gritted from my teeth.

Now out of some miracle, I still don't even know how but it only look him five minutes before he somehow had gotten it what he called "fixed."

"Alright I'm done!" He yelled for me. I grabbed a cup of much needed coffee and made my way back to my lab room. Taken by surprise when I entered I was choked by a tie being put around my neck. Did I mention I dropped my scolding hot beverage all over me? "Come on really!?" Getting mad once again I didn't even realize that he had been fastening the control tie on his neck.

The next few minutes were a dark, but when I came back to the light I was in a pose that looked like I'd just won a dance off. "The hell?" Confused I looked to my friend who was heading towards me. He placed the tie in my hand and grinned evily. "You got some sick moves Pines"

"Wait a minute" I questioned him as he walked away. "Yah?" He stopped, looking back at me. "It...worked?" He shrugged "I guess so."

I couldn't believe it. He had fixed the damned thing when I couldn't even have done it to save my life. Ecstatic I ran over to the short man and hugged him tightly, his feet leaving the ground thanks to my height. "I could just kiss you right now!" I heard him laugh before I set him down "Then do it" He teased. My face must have smashed into a tomato because it went as red as the food. "What?" I asked awkwardly. "You heard me" he said wrapping his tie around me.

"Do ittttt" he teased once again. "With those looks, I bet you got all the pussy in your high school years." Dumbfounded at the words that came from his mouth I stood there, my only reaction was a questioning look.

"Your face!" Was the last thing he cried before he went into a laughing fit on the ground."

After some time he recollected himself and apologized, but didn't seem to sincere about it.

"Try this" I said, placing down a gun looking object in front of him. "It's a magnet gun that I've been working on, you think you can do anything?" Giving his famous shrug my housemate grabbed a wrench and without another word began working away as I watched him.

It felt nice to have someone here with me again. At least I didn't feel like I was losing my mind anymore in this lonely house. But time would soon pass, and my friend still hasn't remembered a single thing about himself. Would it technically be kidnapping if someone came looking for him and they figured out that he'd been here for god knows how long. What if he has a wife that can't bring herself to live without him, and with every passing day she's losing more and more hope? What if they have children that are crying every day waiting for their father to come home?

I knew that I should have done something about it. Tell the local authorities or try to help him get home. But for now, I was enjoying the company of another person. And I wasn't sure how long it would be after he's gone until I have to opportunity to find another man in a bush to replace him.

For now, my boredom was at bay and I didn't know how much longer I had but I was planning on enjoying this.
