A month went by like nothing, but nothing had changed between B and I. But B himself had defiantly changed.
Their was still the damage that I had caused in our connection and at times I would catch him stare...stare at nothing. Not to mention that he's began to turn his nose up to any food or drink that was offered to him. Thanks to that he's lost a lot of weight, despite him being already abnormally skinny, and I often catch him stumbling from hunger. He fainted earlier and hasn't woken up, I was lucky that I was able to catch him before he fainted.
Nothing needs to be said about his current state of mind, it's as blank as a peice of white paper. I've given in, any efforts that I've tried to make in the past have failed and I'm almost positive he will never remember who he is. But that's no excuse for keeping him from finding his relatives, that's why I've decided that I'm going to take him down to the police station tomorrow. I've kept this man to myself for far to long, much longer than I originally intended to, and I needed to tell B the news.
Thankfully it only took him a short time later to finally wake up. "You need to eat something!" I scolded, wanting him to take the plate of leftover food. "For God's sake, how many times do I have to tell you that I'm not hungry!" He yelled, almost sounding like a prepubescent teen. "You passed out for twenty minutes! You. Need. To. Eat!" Not listening he pushed himself off of my bed, stumbling over himself. I reached out for him, only to be shoved away like I once did to him. I let him go off, not wanting to deal with him.
But sooner or later I knew that I would have to face him. I found him on the roof, the extreme wind whipping his wet gold hair. "B, I have something to tell you" Jumping when I said so. "What is it?" He responded dryly, unlike the poring rain soaking the two of us. "I... I really don't know how you're going to respond to this, but I'm taking you to the police station in town. From there you'll be identified and taken to your family..."
Shock was the first emotion that appeared on his drenched face, water flowing in streams down his head. "You're... you're abandoning me?" Hurt, he was hurt. I could see it in his eyes, even in his dull grey eye. "No, I'm not. It's just that you've been here for quite a few months, and you haven't remembered one thing about yourself while you've been here. I just... I just think that if you were with someone that knew you before all of this happened..." I sighed and put a hand on his shoulder, his soaked yellow button up showing the pink of his skin.
"You are!" He growled, standing up and glaring dead into my eyes. "It's because I kissed you isn't it?" I studied his face watching the water droplets stream down his face, or were those tears? Not sure I shook my head "No it isn't because of that! Trust me I love having you around, it's just that... I don't think it's healthy for you to be around me any longer."
Astonished, B's eyes widened to the size of saucers. "How the hell does that make any sense!?" He cried. "I'm perfectly happy here!" I scoffed at his lie. "That's not what I've been seeing!" He looked dumbfounded, absolutely shocked that I had just said that.
"You hate me... you really hate me..." he whispered, backing away from me. "No. B, that's not what I said" Despite listening to my words he took off, bounding off of the roof and out of sight into the woods. I growled, not feeling up for his drama. But the wind that about knocked me over said otherwise. I looked up to the black clouds, it's water running down my face. Lightning lit up the dark sky, showing the dark's secrets for a split second and the thunder shaking the ground.
A storm is coming.
