"Show me Dylan!" I demanded as soon as Liam's face appeared on my screen.

"Calm your jets, kid." Liam chuckled. I could tell from the background he was in the hospital.

We had been texting back and forth all morning, Penelope was being induced. He had to stop for several hours, while she was actually giving birth, but he had just texted me saying Dylan was born. He was six pounds, eight ounces, and twenty two inches long.

"I have to go get the boys from the waiting room." Liam told me. I groaned.

"Who even cares about them?" I joked.

"You're so sweet, Tegan!" Liam said, sarcastically. "Boys, want to come meet my son?"

Liam flipped the camera around. Niall, Harry, and Louis were all lounging in waiting chairs. Each of them had their phones in their hands. They all looked up at the sound of Liam's voice.

"Little Payno arrived?" Louis asked, a smile forming on his face.

"Yes!" Liam exclaimed.

The boys hoped up from their chairs.

"Hi, boys!" I said.

"Tegan?" Niall questioned, then his face appeared on the screen. "Hi, Tegan!" He waved.

"I call dibs!" Harry shouted, running down the hall.

"That's not fair!" Louis argued, running after him.

Liam, Niall and I laughed at them. I could tell Liam was buzzing. I have never seen him happier in my entire life. I wish I could be there with them.

I heard a door open, and Liam flipped the camera again. I could see Penelope in a hospital bed. She looked exhausted, but happy. Harry and Louis were sat at the end of the bed, Harry holding the baby.

"Ello, Dylan. I'm Uncle Harry." Harry used a high voice to talk to Dylan.

"And I'm Uncle Louis, the cool Uncle." Louis used a voice like Harry.

"Get closer, Liam!" I exclaimed.

"Geez, Tegan, so bossy." Liam remarked. Liam got closer, and I could see all of Dylan's little facial features now.

He was so cute! Wrapped tightly in a blanket, eyes closed, peacefully.

"I wish I was there to hold him." I pouted.

"I know, babe." Liam said, his voice sympathetic, showing his face on the camera.

"He's so cute! I love him already!" I changed the topic. I didn't want to make Liam sad.

"I can't believe that's my son!" He looked at Dylan with complete admiration.

"Is that Tegan? I want to talk to her." I heard Penelope say.

Liam walked towards her and handed her the phone. He kissed her forehead, then went back to the other boys.

"Never have kids, TJ." Pen immediately said when she saw me.
