"Perrie!" I called, walking through the house.

"Yes, dear? I'm in here!" She called back.

I followed her voice back to her and Zayn's bedroom.

Their room was a complete disaster. On their bed was her suitcase, her clothes flung every where. The comforter of the bed wadded up in a ball at the head. Zayn's shoes covering the floor.

"Dang, looks like a teenager's room in here." I teased, chuckling.

"Oh, you don't know, do you?" Perrie looked at me with sad eyes.

"Know what?" I asked, confused.

"Here sit down, babe." Perrie put her hands on my shoulders, and pushed me to sit on the end of their bed. "Zayn and I broke up."

"You what?" I raised my voice.

"It's over." Perrie said. "I wish I could tell you more, but I don't know. He just ended it."

"Perrie, I'm so sorry!" I stood up, and wrapped my arms around her. She returned my gesture. "Are you okay?"

I felt her shake her head against my shoulder. I let out a sigh, and hugged her tighter.

What's even right anymore?

After a good hug, I pulled away.

"When are you leaving?" I asked.

"As soon as I can." Perrie answered her eyes not meeting my face.

"Well, I was going to ask if you wanted to go shopping, but we don't have to anymore." I said.

"No! Don't worry, of course we can go!" Perrie assured me.

"You sure?" I asked.

"Positive! You know I love shopping!" Perrie smiled, brightly.

That was the thing about Perrie, she was far too kind, and genuine. I'm really shocked Zayn would let her go. I know he loves her very, very much, but maybe it's best things got ended now, versus an even uglier break up later.

"So you need a dress to wear to the music awards?" Perrie asked, flipping through a rack of dresses.

"Mhm," I acknowledged.

Perrie handed me a white dress with black beaded spirals on it, and a two piece black dress with white along the sides. I picked out a dress with a blue simple top, and a puffy bottom that had blue floral designs. I went to the dressing room. I came out in the first white dress.

"You look like a grown woman!" Perrie exclaims.

"Is that a good thing?" I asked, looking at myself in the mirror.

"Yes! You look lovely." Perrie complimented.

"I don't know, I feel like it's not really me." I scrunched my nose. Perrie nodded in agreement.
