"Rose, i'll give you a few boxes and you head into Daniel's room and pack things nicely. Got it? Wrap up things that could break in things like towels or blankets."
"Got it!"
I handed her a few already put together boxes Daniel had prepared before. She dragged them down the hall.
"And me, Walter? What's my job?"
Daniel asked, smiling. I rolled my eyes and shrugged.
"Um. The kitchen? Let's do that."
I handed him a box as I walked past him into the kitchen.
"You think it'll take us both to pack this kitchen?"
Daniel asked, following me.
"Probably not."
I shrugged.
"But you don't have much to pack any where else."
"True, true. But I have more work in my room than in here."
"...Yeah well..."
"Remember, honesty Walter."
I sighed dramatically.
"I wanted to work in the same room as you."
I glanced at Daniel, and he was smiling.
"Stop it."
I said, rolling my eyes.
"Stop what?"
Daniel asked.
"Smiling. You find this funny."
"That's only kind of true."
I turned on my heel and tossed the empty box at him. He dropped his own and caught the one in the air.
"Gotta throw harder than that to hurt me."
"I don't want to hurt you."
He laughed.
"You say now. But wait until we're in bed."
He winked playfully and I couldn't help but blush lightly.
"Where are your knives?"
He started to laugh.
"Okay okay, i'm sorry."
"You're not."
"Are you pouting?"
"No."
"Aw that's cute. Walter's pouting!"
"Am not!"
I crossed my arms and turned away from him.
"Are too."
He spun me around and smiled at me.
"Am not."
Our eyes locked. A shiver ran up my spine and I really wanted to kiss him. I didn't.
"Don't pout Walter, it makes you too cute."
He pinched a piece of my bangs and moved them out of my eyes.
"You're making my life hard, Daniel."
He smirked.
"Just your life?"
I groaned out loud and turned away from him.
"Yes. Just my life. You're making me want to scrape my eyes out."
"That's rude."
"So is making jokes about people."
"I'm only messing around Walter don't take it all to heart."
