A week or so passed since the first week of Coachella and Jackie saw Alex frequently since he, luckily, lived in the Los Angeles area. He would usually visit her while she was working.
Of course, none of the members knew who he was exactly they just thought he was another worker. Alex and Jackie would sneak away at times to just fool around, not anything dirty, but they would mess with the lights while the band was practicing and it drove them insane, it was great.
One time they actually caused a power outage on from flickering them on and off too much. That was fun too. But today Alex just came over to eat lunch with Jackie.

"You don't want to go mess around again?" Jackie questioned him while they were far off into a corner sitting in front each other eating.
"No, not really. I mean it's fun and all, but I feel like we're bothering them too much." Alex glanced at some worker fixing the instruments on stage.
"Oh," Jackie muttered, "I see, but that's the fun in it." Jackie smiled at Alex poking his leg.
"Yeah, but you think it's fun, I don't." Alex stated looking at Jackie with a series experience.
Jackie pressed her lips together and moved back and continued eating.
"I didn't mean it like that," Alex apologized looking at Jackie's actions.
"No, it's fine I get it." Jackie shrugged, "It's cool." She smiled again trying to reassure him.
"Right. Uh, I should probably get going my lunch break would be over by the time I get back to work." Alex stood up.
"I'll clean up, then. Don't worry."
Alex bent down to kiss Jackie on the cheek and reminded her about their date later that day and left.

Not wanting to eat the lame salad Alex brought her, she threw everything else away and went over to go see if anyone else wanted it.
She shook the clear plastic container in front of George who was tying his shoes, "No Jackie, I'd rather not." George turned away.
"Aw, c'mon it'll make you grow," she lied.
Matty laughed and looked at Jackie from the mirror he was looking at himself in, "Like we need that."
"Here then, Matty, you eat it since you're so short," Jackie smiled at him. Adam and Ross laughed from sitting on deprecate seats.
  Matty just mocked their laughter.
"Why not just throw it away?" Ross asked.
"Well my friend gave it to me and I wouldn't want to be rude..." Jackie sat on the coffee table and slouched.
"I'll eat it then," Ross shrugged taking the salad from Jackie.
"Thanks, it tastes weird, btw." Jackie scratched the back of her ear and smiled innocently.
"I'm sure it's not that bad," Ross shrugged opening it up and making a face because of the smell. He grabbed the fork and decided to atleast take a small bite. "No," Ross put the fork down and wiped his mouth, "How can it be so bad?" He tried handing it back to Jackie.
She shook her head, "No take backs!" Jackie laughed moving to the other corner of the table.
"This really isn't fair," Ross side handing the salad over to Adam.
"I'd rather just throw it away," Adam looked at how far the trashcan was and thought he could make it by throwing it. Wrong, estimate because it ended up hitting Matty beside the head and the container opened making him dirty with the green leaves, nasty sauce, and whatever the hell it had.
Everyone started laughing. Matty was annoyed and got some of the salad from himself and threw it at Adam. Adam yanked the peanuts from the table and started throwing them into Matty's hair. Ross got some cheesesticks from the small fridge and started throwing them at Matty.
"This is not fair, I'm the only one on this side." Matty complained trying to dodge the things being thrown at him.
Jackie grabbed a soda, shook it, and walked over to Matty.
"Jackie, no." Matty backed up, "I'll give you 20 dollars."
"But where's the fun in that?" Jackie snapped open the soda and it starting spewing out on Matty who covered himself the pushed the can back at Jackie that rushed out onto her.
George, Adam, and Ross were gathering all the messy foods they could find and started throwing them at Jackie and Matty.
"Hey! What the hell?! I'm your side," Jackie tried going behind the chair Matty was sitting on earlier.
"You're the one who tried to feed us the poisons salad!" Adam yelled back throwing yogurt over.
"Yeah, but no one likes Matty! I'm with you guys!" Jackie ducked as the yogurt hit the wall and splattered everywhere.
"What?! I don't care if you guys don't like me!" Matty sat down on floor as all the food was still being thrown. Then they stopped.
Jackie stood back up, "Look at this mess" she laughed.
"Same time tomorrow, guys?" George asked setting down a waterbottle.
"Yeah," everyone said at the same time.

"Today was good," Matty said to Jackie who was brushing her wet hair.
She sat down on the bed where Matty was lying down, "Really now, how so?" She looked at the messy curls had and tried brushing them down on the bed softly.
"Just was," Matty closed his eyes.
"That's good then, you should have an optimistic look in the beginning of each day, did you do that today?" Jackie said trying to get the hair he was laying on.
"Not really," Matty sat up and faced Jackie. "What's with you?" He leaned in closer to her face trying observer her.
"Uh...nothing, why?" Jackie finsihed brushing her hair and set the brush down.
"There's something about you lately, I'm not sure with what..."Matty moved back, "You see, I'm really good at reading people." He gave her a closed eyes smile.
Jackie laughed because he was mocking some boy that Jackie knew in High school, "Wow", she rolled her eyes.
"Nothing new?" Matty's eyes bored into Jackie's.
Jackie thought for a second, "Nothing important, no." Jackie said poking Matty's knee.
"Oh alright, I'll see you in the morning." Matty stood up from the bed and went out the hotel room to get into his.
Jackie sighed, sitting back. For her, the day seemed alright, hanging out with the guys was always fun, but she had to cancel her date with Alex and that seemed to make him mad.
Jackie thought he was overreacting since they only just started dating there was no need to be fighting. He accused her of not caring about him, but, again, they only just started dating.
Alex already expected a lot from her, but she could only do so much because of her job and the late hours. Plus, she wasn't looking for a committed relationship either. She should tell Alex that too.
If things were to get more serious between them then maybe things wouldn't be great since Jackie wouldn't be fully in. Jackie just didn't want to care about Matty in a romantic way anymore.
That was it and she had to tell Alex.
