3 months After
Farah woke to the familiar awareness that she wasn't alone; she squirmed, pushing herself backwards onto the one that was sharing her bed. Liam removed his weight off Farah slightly. He was cuddling her from behind, exhaling deeply into the back of her caramel hair. His heavy arm was wrapped around her, holding her own arms against one side of the bed, he was holding one of her hands tightly, their fingers intertwined, his leg was draped casually over hers. Farah could feel the usual boner pushing against the arch of her back.
Farah let go of Liam's hand to reach out to grab her phone, which was a few more centimeters away, to silence the noise the was now coming from it. She looked at the screen and when she saw the time she groaned. "It's time to get up," she mumbled sleepily but her kept her eyes on her phone as she checked her newsfeed and her messages.
But then Liam knocked the phone out of Farah's hand and took her hand again. "Five more minutes, Far. I'm still tired," he murmured, pulling her closer to his chest.
But before Farah could argue back with him, she quickly untangled herself from Liam's body so she could run to the bathroom next to her room and throw up everything into the toilet bowl. But Liam had already hopped out of bed and followed her, now holding her hair back from her face. She sighed.
He combed her hair back from her face gently with one hand and with the other hand, smoothed over her back, to help her body calm down. "So much for five more minutes," he teased. Farah let out a breath and leaned her head back on Liam's body. Well I am pregnant, she wanted to say. But there was no use repeating something they both already knew, she was even beginning to show a little bit on her stomach. But whenever she looked at her stomach all she thought about was Jacob, so she tried not to notice.
"Farah, you had better be up already!" Farah's mother shouted, banging on the door. The noise startled both Liam and Farah as they both jerked their heads up.
"Yes, I'm already up mum," Farah shouted back, glancing at Liam who leaned over Farah to flush the toilet.
"Oh did you have morning sickness again? Did you take those pills I gave you? They're meant to help. But don't think that is getting you out of going to school today young lady," he mother called through the door before letting her heels clack against the floor as she walked down the hall. Ever since Farah's mother had found out she was pregnant not too long ago, she hadn't reacted the way Farah thought she would. Instead she became to care a lot more about Farah's life and doing things like banging on her door in the morning to make sure she got up for school and giving her morning sickness pills. Farah had thought her mother would just simply not care that she was pregnant and her life would go the way it always had. But something about finding out your daughter was going to have a child of their own made Farah's mother care a lot more and so for the last couple of months she had tried to make much more of effort. Making Farah think that maybe she should of got pregnant a long time ago.
"I'm still not used to your mum doing that," Liam commented and Farah nodded in agreement.
Liam helped Farah off the floor where she had knelt over the toilet and walked her back into her room. "Well at least she's trying to be a better grandmother, then she was a mother," Farah replied tiredly as she sat back down on her bed, feeling more tired after she had used all her morning energy to throw up.
