Author's Note:

What's up guys!! Welcome to the third book in the You Can't Hide Forever series: Won't You Stay This Time? ! As said in the description, if you have not read the first two books (You Can't Hide Forever and Those Painful Memories), then please DO NOT read any further!! This will help prevent spoilers for you and others!

Anyway, time for a little summary of what happened in the last book!

In the previous book (Those Painful Memories), Claire was given a ring when Ciel was still alive to keep her from becoming unbalanced. But that's not all! It was such a shock when you all found out Claire is pregnant! And not with just one baby, but three!!

The attached video is Ciel's version of the opening to season 2 (Shiver). I really wanted to attach Alois' version here and Ciel's on the first part of the second episode, but I couldn't find Alois' version. The picture attached seems pretty self explanatory to me, but if you don't understand it then you will understand it once you start reading.

Enjoy the very first chapter of Won't You Stay This Time? !!

~~Claire's POV~~

It had been about three and a half months since I started working at the Trancy manor and it was a living hell. As soon as I started, I was constantly working without rest on the ridiculous list of chores Alois Trancy had given to me. I was to scrub the floors of the foyer while the triplets did the hallways, I was to polish the railing on the stairs and the stairs, I was to clean the walls in the hallway, I was to help with the cooking and the dusting, I was to dust the bookshelves in the library in order of the dates they were made, I was to clean every bedroom even if it wasn't used, I was to do the laundry with Hannah's help, I was to help the triplets with the gardening, I was to check all the spiderwebs to make sure nothing had disturbed them and report the ones that had been disturbed, and there was so much more. Most days I would be too tired to return home and I quickly learned I would have to spread a day's chores out on other days just to be home for the appointments I had.

It felt so nice to be at home in my own bed without having to worry about being called out of bed for some ridiculous task Alois couldn't bother to call his butler Claude to do. Though, I would have to get up earlier than usual just to make it back to the manor with enough time to do my chores and hopefully get some sleep.

I was about eight and a half months pregnant by now and I felt as if I was going to burst. However, at the Trancy manor, there was no such thing as maternity leave until I had given birth. Hannah and the triplets tried to help between their own chores, but I was still left to do most of them myself. It seemed I was right the first time I met Alois. He's a real sadist. Sometimes I think he enjoys watching me do my chores because the pain it puts me in. I have so much difficulty moving, but I get punished if I don't finish my chores. My feet are swollen and by the end of the day my back, legs, and feet hurt from doing all the work as a pregnant girl. And that's not counting the pains from the work itself.

Actually, there have been a few scares with the children due to the stress. My doctor, Dr. Martha Thompkins, has already warned me that the stress could cause serious problems with the children. Though I am very worried for their health and my own, I can't quit my job. The work doesn't give me the time to think about Ciel, and that's exactly what I needed right then. I still had no idea what I wanted to name the children though. I had considered naming one after Ciel, but the thought brought only pain. Still, it was a standing option.
