~~Claire's POV~~

The clock at the station chimed eight a.m. as people scurried about to get aboard the trains or prepare the trains for departure. Ciel had received a letter from the Queen about a recent kidnapping where the ransom was supposed to be handed off in exchange for the child on the train we were about to board, so the two of us and Sebastian were acting as if we were going on a trip and the other servants were there to see us off.

"Goodbye, young master, Lady Claire", Mey-Rin said. "I hope you two have a nice trip!"

"Yes", Ciel replied.

"Please, Mey-Rin, you really don't have to call me 'Lady Claire'", I insisted with a light blush of embarrassment.

"Now, you three try to behave yourselves while we're away", Sebastian said to them. Mey-Rin and Bard were standing in front of us while Finny was running around with starry eyes and excitement rushing through his veins.

"The train sounds lovely!!", Finny practically screamed while running towards a crate of oranges with his arms spread out. "Oh, fruit!!" He grabbed an orange, took a bite from it as if it were an apple, tossed it, and then headed towards us all without stopping. "I wanna go on the train!!" He started jumping up and down beside the train as if he was trying to climb to the roof of it before twirling around some bags like a ballerina while singing.

"Finny, would you stop running around like a bloody lune!!", Bard scolded, but Finny didn't stop and twirled right into a man in a blue uniform carrying one end of a large crate onto the train. Finny fell onto his back while the man stumbled before dropping to one knee, the crate crushing his right hand as its top was knocked partially off. After he rolled around for a second in pain, Finny noticed that the man was hurt and quickly got up onto his knees and folded his hands together with an apologetic look similar to that of a puppy.

"I'm so sorry!!", Finny apologized as the other two and I ran over.

"Is everything okay?!", Mey-Rin asked as she and Bard knelt down to face the man beside Finny and she reached out towards the crate. I would have knelt, but I knew I wouldn't be able to get up so easily if I did.

"Don't! Touch!", a voice called to them sternly. An older man with a mustache appeared in the doorway of the train with a cigar in his mouth. "That's a valuable scholarly resource! Do you have any idea what it's worth?!" We immediately looked into the crate to see an opened Egyptian sarcophagus inside. The opening of the sarcophagus revealed a mummified body. The boys screeched and jumped back in fright while Mey-Rin's screech was closer to that of a fan's. I, on the other hand, was more surprised than anything.

"It's a mummy", I heard Ciel state behind us with a tone of disinterest.

"Its antiquities are popular these days. The moneyed classes have recently taken an interest in them. A mummy would be prized indeed", Sebastian confirmed its value.

"Who would wanna collect that thing?!", Bard asked while pointing at the mummy, he and Finny still looking at it in horror while Mey-Rin continued to inwardly fangirl. As they did so, a priest with brown hair and glasses knelt down beside the crate, blue tattoos on his arms peeking out from his long sleeves.

"Dear Lord, please forgive your children", he said before tracing a cross on himself as many Catholics do. The archaeologist clapped his hands, drawing the attention back to him before giving an order.
