Author's Note:

What's up guys!! So this chapter is SUPER long, but it's a full chapter written by Author-Chan! No episode bases, all by me, plenty of OC action! I hope to write more OC action with my other OCs involved in this series a little later. But I hope you all enjoy this chapter and that it makes up for the lack of OC action lately!

Also, a quick Merry Christmas to everyone!! Here is the update, as promised.

~~Claire's POV~~

It was around 1:30 in the afternoon when we arrived at the wedding venue. The wedding would be starting soon and it seemed that Ciel and I were one of the last ones to arrive since everyone else–that we knew were invited–had already arrived and taken their seats. I felt a little self conscious for having been the reason that we hadn't arrived very early, but I couldn't help the fact that I was pregnant and that it effected how long it took me to do simple things such as walking and dressing. Especially that morning. I had been feeling off and there were a few light stomach pains throughout the morning, but nothing major. Not to mention the stress from the ball at the Trancy manor the previous night.

On the way in, I had noticed the dark clouds in the distance, most likely heading this way. I was relieved that it didn't appear the storm would make it to London during the wedding. I was sure others who noticed the approaching storm were relieved by its distance as well.

Upon entering, Ciel and I were greeted by Quintin. He was in a nice suit with his hair slicked back and a pink rose pinned to his breast pocket. He appeared to be sweating bullets, which Ciel and I were both quick to notice.

"I'm glad you both could make it", he said to us as he shook Ciel's hand in greeting. "How are you feeling this afternoon, Claire?"

"Just a few light pains here and there, but I'm fine", I smiled. "I'd rather not attract too much attention today, though. It's your wedding day, today is about you and Lizzie."

"Thank you, but if something happens be sure to let us know", Quintin insisted. "After all, we can't control nature." I nodded.

"If I think anything needs to be mentioned, I will tell you all", I replied.

"By the way, what has you sweating bullets, Quintin?", Ciel asked. Quintin froze for a moment.

"L-Lizzie's parents and older brother are here...", he replied. We looked around the rows of chairs and finally spotted the three in all their glory. Her father appeared to be stern and scary, but as soon as he saw someone he knew and liked he was as friendly as Lizzie herself. Her mother appeared to be a no-nonsense kind of person and seemed to correct every imperfection she saw and made everything neat to her liking. Her brother seemed to be a bit of a medium between their parents, leaning more towards their mother. He was actually glaring daggers at poor Quintin. Considering what Lizzie had told me about her family history, Quintin had some reason to be on edge. After all, her family had a history of fantastic swordsmanship and any of them could take him out in one swift movement if they really wanted to.

I gave Quintin a bit of a sympathetic smile. "I'm sure they'll warm up to you", I assured him.

"Well... her father already has and insists I call him 'dad'. He may have warmed up to me a little too much", he explained. "It's her mother and brother I'm worried about."

"Her brother is just protective to a fault, so he'll get over it. And her mother is hard to please all around, so I wouldn't worry about it too much", Ciel insisted. "Just focus on making Elizabeth happy and it should all be fine."
