Laurance's POV•~

Since Aaron wasn't there that night, I waited at Aphmau's bedside for her to wake up in the new village. She looked so peaceful lying there sleeping. She looked so beautiful. Yes, I may sound like a creep. But I've done this all the time. The truth is, I wanted to see if she would disappear to go see Garroth again. Although, I also just want to watch her sleep...that came out wrong, I apologize. Why does it sound like I'm writing in a diary? Pfft, I don't know. Anyway...

Her body started disappearing. Finally! She hadn't seen him in about a month now. I wonder what they're talking about. I hope Garroth isn't putting any moves on her though. I'm always scared he'll go and steal her from me.

About thirty minutes later, she came back! I smiled even though her eyes were closed. About five seconds later her eyes opened and she suddenly started sobbing. She faced the opposite direction from me sobbing to herself. She was also breathing heavy.

"Aphmau? What happened? Why are you crying?" I asked. She just continued to sob. I got down from the bed next to hers. "Aphmau!" I shook her arm lightly to get her to snap out of it. She didn't stop however. "Aphmau!" I turned her around to face me. She still sobbed and looked at me. I did the only thing I could think of and got onto the bed, pulled her close and kissed her on the lips. I could still hear her cries as we kissed. I was surprised that she was kissing back and not rejecting me. When I felt the kiss was long enough, I pulled away. She calmed down slightly. I sat up to give her space.

"Aphmau what-"

"LAURANCE!" She jumped from the bed and hugged me tight but apparently she ended up knocking me off the bed with her still in my arms. She sobbed into my chest as she held me. She mumbled to herself and I couldn't make out what she was saying.

"Aphmau?"

"I-I'm sorry it's just..." She couldn't talk without sobbing again. I managed to pick her up bridal-styled and sat her down on the bed. I sat next to her. She sniffed and took a deep breath. "I-I have bad news..."

"L-Like what?" I was nervous. As she tried to calm herself down, I put an arm around her. Unexpectedly, she brushed it off. I placed my hand back on my lap and she squeezed it tight. I'll be honest, it hurt! But I didn't pull away.

"W-When I-I when to visit G-Garroth I-I-In the Irene d-dimension," she paused to sniff, "I-I didn't see Garroth...but I s-saw...Z-Z-Zane..." She paused again, "H-He...he said...He k-k-killed off Garroth!" My eyes grew open with shock.

"What!?"

"He said he stabbed him and.." She berried her face in her knees. "I-I can't live without him Laurance, I ca-hah-han't!" Tears formed at the corners of my eyes. I tried to stay calm, maybe I fell asleep and this was a dream.

"A-Aphmau, I'm sorry..." She continued to sob. I sighed and stood up, causing her to let go of my hand. "I understand if you want to be alone..." I walked over to the door and opened it.

"Wait!" I turned back around. "Stay here...I-I don't want to sob alone...p-please?" I couldn't help it, I had to stay back! I closed the door and began to walk back over to her when she stopped me.

"Lock it."

"What?"

"L-Lock it." She repeated. I turned back over to the door and locked it like she said. When I turned around she was back in bed. I gave ear a confused look and walked back over to her.
