This is where Damien learns that kidnapping women isn't such a good idea. Especially when a brother you wronged kidnaps them in return and they proceed to communicate about just how badly you fucked up.

Fergus was a pretty awesome guy once you got past his weirdness about lederhosen and his brother. I wasn't a prisoner in his home despite the fact I wasn't allowed to leave. Buuuut that was because Dick Cheese would be able to smell me out if I did. It was for my own safety and Gus, as I had taken to calling him, kept me occupied with various books and games. I could absolutely crush him at Life.
With the week I spent with him, I was a hundred percent sure I could safely call him a friend. He was that great of a guy. And not in the way where they were pretending to be your friend because they wanted to bump uglies. It was a genuine friendliness.
He also had an aura of leadership to him that I knew would make people want to follow him. I could definitely tell which of the brothers had been born a true leader and a quick hint, it wasn't the one who was born first. Dick Cheese didn't deserve the place of power, he fucking abused it.
"He will be here soon." Gus sat on the porch beside me and I hummed my agreement as I took a sip of my hot cocoa. My eye twinged slightly, the bruise was even worse than the first night I had it. The edges of it had turned brown, covering a good portion of my cheekbone and orbital socket. Gus had said he was surprised Peanuts McGee hadn't fractured it. "You ready?" At that I smiled. We had gone over the plan numerous times.
It was simple but that was what made it so goddamn perfect.
"I am as ready as I'll ever be." I finished up my cup of cocoa and set it to the side before standing up. Gus followed suit before leading me down the steps.
"Do you trust me?" He held out his hand and I rolled my eyes.
"With my firstborn child." I trusted him because he wasn't his brother and for the fact he had treated me with nothing but kindness since he had 'kidnapped' me.
"Okay." He grasped me from behind before pressing a cold, sharp knife to my neck, holding me tightly. "I can hear him." The words brushed my ear and I nodded before forcing myself to cry. All I needed were teary eyes, it was all it would take. To be honest it wasn't even hard.
"Fergus!" His voice boomed in the air and I blinked rapidly, sending the tears I had created down my cheeks. It didn't take long before Dick Cheese burst out of the trees with several others following him. Vince included, my legs felt almost weak as his eyes landed on me. "Love!" He stopped as Fergus shifted the knife on my throat.
"Come any closer and your love will have another smile." Gus spat the words out and I allowed my legs to tremble as if in fear. Peanuts growled darkly.
"Let her go!" His voice was loud and Fergus tapped the knife against my neck as if in warning.
"Why should I, brother?" Fergus gave a low rumbling chuckle that sounded dark and taunting
"Damien." I forced a sob out and he paced frantically as Fergus flicked my skin with the knife. I mentally swore at him to take it easy.
"Its okay, sweetheart! It will be okay." He snarled and I wanted to roll my eyes at his dramatics.
"Damien." I sniffled slightly before I looked at him. "Who is Patricia?" A thick silence fell as I crossed my arms over my chest. Fergus let the knife drop from my neck.
"What is this, Damien? Did your little secret come out?" He laughed loudly in response and I watched as Dick Cheese's eyes went wide.
"Who is Patricia, Damien?" I wanted to laugh at the expression on his face.
"Sasha..." He looked almost frantic and I tapped my foot on the ground, placing an unimpressed look on my face.
"Who is she? Because Fergus told me a little story." I tilted my head as I gestured to Fergus who gave a sweeping bow.
"He lies!" Alpha Delusional took a step forward but Gus pointed pressed the knife to my throat in warning. I ignored the gesture, it was one I knew was simply used to control Dick Cheese.
"He told me that she was your one true mate. If she was your one true mate what does that make me?" I stuck my bottom lip out into a pout as if I felt hurt by the prospect.
"Don't listen to him!"He looked stricken as he started pacing again, his hands clenched tightly.
"Well if she wasn't your mate, then she was his and then you killed her." It was fascinating to watch him struggle with the broken delusions in his mind.
"That isn't what happened!" His voice screeched as he grabbed his head. I could feel Vince's eyes on me as I slowly started pacing, gesturing as I did so. Vince's gaze was almost magnetic and I had to try my hardest not to look at him.
"Either she was your one true mate and I am not or she was your brother's mate and you killed her. Which is it?" Watching his mind struggle with the contradicting delusions was growing to be more and more hilarious.
"I don't know!" He clutched his head and I smirked.
"You don't know? He doesn't know, Gus." I lazily glanced over at him and Gus smirked at me before he shook his head.
"That is a real shame." He tsked slightly and I followed suit before I let out a sigh.
"A real shame. Did you call them?" I raised an eyebrow and he nodded quickly. Flashing a dark smile at his brother who was clutching his head and rocking back and forth.
"I did." After all that was what one did when the crazies came out.
You called the people in the white jackets.
