"Philllllllll hurrryyyyy!" I whined, dragging him by his sleeve outside. "Bye dad!" I yelled pushing phil out. I didn't have time to hear his reply before I slammed the door. Phil raced me down the hallway and stairs saying the first one downstairs has to down a whole milkshake. Ofcourse I won.
Instead of getting a bus he hailed a cab. I stood bouncing up and down on the curb so excited, Phil dissolved into laughter at the sight of my enthusiasm at something so little. "Why is it taking so long!" I complained, stomping my feet. Phil chuckled. "It will be here in a minute"
But it wasn't, I was timing it was 2.
When we got out of the taxi, we were greeted by a towering sign saying 'London Zoo'. At the orphanage we didn't go out much, so this was my first time here. "What animals do they have at zoos?" I questioned. "Loads of animals, monkeys, tigers, penguins and my personal favourite..." "LIONS" we laughed. We went in a grabbed a map and went through the whole zoo, seeing and feeding every animal even though we shouldn't. It was funny, Phil tried to make the noise of every animal. He failed badly. We went to the flight shop and we both picked out lion hats and a llama one for Dan.
After the zoo he took me to a icecream shop and we bought a sundae to share. Well I say share i atleast three quaters of it haha. I watch him chug the milkshake, I snorted with laughter after he started gagging. We slowly but surely finished the sundae and we decided to walk.
When we finally arrived home dan was in his laptop position, scrunched up and creased. As soon as he saw us, he lept up and covered my eyes and guided me into a room. He moved his hands and it was amazing. The walls painted grey and there was a bed! A actual bed! I hugged him and then pushed him out and run up to a towering wardrope and opened it and I saw it full to the brim. This is why Zoe didn't leave. I giggled to myself and fell onto my bed. "I finally belong" I whispered.
