The bus journey was finally over, we all ran off the bus gasping for air. I briefly heard dan mention that the bus was a gas chamber beause someone must have farted in there and me and Phil hunched over laughing. "It must have been you" I laughed, taking deep breaths. He gave me the evils and we all headed down to the beach. Phil laid our towels out with Leah while dan took me to get us all icecream. "Pick a flavour for phil" he laughed and ofcourse I chose chocolate. "Pick one for me" I chose mint chocolate chip "because your breath stinks". I chose banana for myself and got ready to head back. "One mode,  pick one for Leah" I didn't know her how could I pick what she liked. In the end I chose vanilla and we headed back to the beach. There is not much to do at a beach. I went in the sea for a while splashing Dan, being dunked under and swallowing several amounts of salty sea water. After becoming a prune, I decided I wanted to be a baked one. I lead down quietly trying not to disrupt Leah who was right next to me. As soon as I was led down, her head turned towards me and gave me a smile. I gave a half hearted smile back and she then started a conversation about shopping and how she wants to take me to shopping one day. I nodded politely and got out 'Girl Online'.

The silence was disrupted by Dan and Phil walking towards us arguing. Me and Leah both sat up, our attention on them. "BAYLEIGH!" they both yelled, I could hear Leah laugh and lie back down. "Yes Phillip yes Daniel" I replied coolly.  "Dan thinks that he's a better roller-skater then me!" Phil pouted. I burst out laughing using my book to cover my face. When I removed the book away from my face they were looking at each other as if I was insane. Of course I was I lived with them. "I'm better then both of you!" I grinned from ear to ear. I really wasn't, I had never used those dreadful contraptions in my life and I wasn't going too. There stares turned to me "Is that a challenge Bayleigh?" Dan questioned his eyes gleaming with excitement, I nodded. I really regret that nod. We packed up our things and walked down the road.

We must have walked at least 2 miles because my legs felt like twigs about to snap beneath me. My skin was burning as I had forgot to put on sun cream. I clung on to Dan's hand as we continued to walk. I started to drag me feet. "Bayleigh stop it!" he moaned. I laughed and continued to do it, Dan and Leah chuckling as I did. She wasn't that bad to be quite honest. "Were here now". It was a community centre. Dan began to tell me how he came here with his sister Ali when they were little. I was interested in Dan's story's, they always ended badly or funny, I preferred the funny ones, but sometimes the bad ones were pretty funny even when they weren't supposed to be. We went and bought tickets to go in, we had to take off our shoes and hand them in to trade for roller skates. I stared at them. I didn't know who sat by me till I heard there voice. "Never roller-skated before?" I heard Leah ask softly. I shook my head, so she helped me get them on then offered her hand to help. I took it willingly. She wasn't bad at all.
