27.When It Rains, It Pours

*Cassi's POV*

Zayn does not know who he is messing with! I will get him, he will see!! I was walking around looking for Liam, he was the sensible one of the group and maybe I could use him. All I have to do is come up with some sappy story to pull at his heart strings.

A smile appeared on my face when I heard Liam on the phone, screaming at who I assumed was his girlfriend. This is going to be perfect!! I know he and I have shared some venomous words towards each other in the past but, I will just have to work my magic!

When I heard him throw his phone and scream, I knew things did not end well for that call. I started crying so I could work some magic on this poor sap of a boy who, from the sounds of things just broke up with his perfect girlfriend. This will be fun!

I am going to teach these boys a lesson! You do not mess with me! These vile excuses of human beings will pay for how they are treating me. They have absolutely no clue what is about to come their way!

*Liam's POV*

"But....but....Dani, I...I... love you...." I whispered into the phone, voice broken. "OH Liam you are pathetic, I mean really do we have to do this. Please don't beg, keep your dignity. That is if you ever had any! Ugh I swear!!" she snarled at me, laughing.

How could she do this to me! I gave her everything and she just spits in my face like this. "Oh I have dignity!! I just thought that a relationship meant that we would always try to work things out but I guess you would rather just go and screw other guys!" I shot back at her!

"How dare you Liam! It's not my fault you are too bloody busy to meet my needs!! You act like you care but you're NEVER here!!!!" she yelled at me. Oh two can play at this, I'm done!! "Well don't you worry, you can do any guy you want now because I'm DONE!!! I WILL NOT GIVE MY HEART TO SOME BLOODY WHORE ANYMORE!!!" I bellowed at her and hung up, throwing my mobile across the room and landing in a corner.

I ran my fingers through my hair, pulling at my roots as I did. I can't believe this is happening!! When I turned to go back to the kitchen, I heard someone crying from the living room. I looked around and finally noticed it was Cassi. Oh great, as much as I dislike her I'm not the type of guy to just walk away from someone crying.

Walking over to her I let out a long sigh. I placed my hand on her back "hey Cassi, is everything alright?" I asked her in an attempt to sound like I didn't care, which I failed miserably at. She looked up at me and shook her head back and forth, telling me no. But I knew that as soon as I saw her face, it looked like she had been hit, multiple times.

"What happened to your face?" I asked her, begining to freak out because last I knew she was upstairs, alone, with Zayn. Even though I know Zayn would never hit a girl, I was starting to doubt myself. "W..well h..he, h..he got v..very m..mad at m..me b..be..because I s..said I w..wasn't going to l..leave and th..then he h..hit m..me...." she whimpered inbetween sobs.

My heartbeat sped up at her words, growing nervous. "Cassi, who hit you?" I asked, deathly afraid that I already knew the answer. She just shook her head back and forth "I c..can't s..say, or h..he'll h..hurt me a..again..." she whispered, trying to calm herself down. "Listen to me Cassi, I know we haven't liked each other or exactly got along, but I was raised that no matter what you never, ever hit a woman and if you tell me who it was, I won't let them hurt you again, I promise." I said sternly, truly meaning the words I said to her.

She nodded her head "i..it was Z..Zayn, he hit me....." she spoke softly, fear filling her tone and her eyes. My brain tells me not to believe her but my heart is telling me that the look on her face cannot be faked, it was the same look my aunt wore on her face when she escaped from her abusive husband. I just can't believe Zayn could do something like that. I just don't know what to think or who to believe.
