WARNING- GRAPHIC VIOLENCE AHEAD
"What I am about to say, I want you to realize I will never hurt you. The things I did were done out of anger. I would do it all again because I would never want to see you hurt mentally or physically and I would lay down my life for you." He held her hand interlocking their fingers.
"I know, I love you too, and I won't judge you." Sasha looked into his eyes and smiled.
"Okay, here it goes." He looked at Allen's face and he nodded for him to continue. Sasha sat back and waited for him to finally tell her what had taken him away from her for two weeks while she was in Brazil.
Chase took a deep breath, closed his eyes.
"After I heard the code blue, I don't know what happened. It was like my mind went into survival mode. The only thoughts I had were of you in my arms and watching you suffer. In my head I had every target listed with a red circle."
He sighed.
"I was told that Emilio was being held in custody at the Public Hospital. I called the captain, he picked me up and he allowed me to take Emilio to an abandon warehouse. You should have seen his face. Emilio was a little surprised to see me. He told me that he didn't know that you were pregnant and that Madeline set everything up. He blamed everything on Madeline and Santos. I figured he would never admit that he had something to do with your disappearance. To get him to tell me the truth, I paid one of the captain's highly trusted guards to hold him down. He held down Emilio as I unwrapped his hand, as I cut off every each finger from both hands. Once I got his attention he told me the whole story."
Sasha could only imagined the pain. Allen looked away. He didn't know about the altercation with Emilio.
"You see Zane was married to Emilio's cousin, Gabanna. Gabanna and Madeline had been friends for a very long time. She introduced Emilio and Madeline a while ago. Gabanna told Emilio that Madeline was an agent when she found out, but he knew she had fallen in love with him and told him that she would do whatever it took to be together, so they all worked together including Zane."
Sasha shook her head.
"After a while I guess Zane's conscious got the best of him and sent you everything you would need to give up the scheme. The week he went on suppose vacation, Zane was killed because word had gotten out that he was about to turn in everything and everyone. Vega had called you to meet him in Patagonia, but he had a heart attack before you made it. Madeline kidnapped you from the room and took you to Emilio. She had given you sodium pentothal and said you didn't know anything. Instead of killing you they decided to sell you to the highest bidder. He said he had nothing to do with Alejandro finding you and kidnapping you."
"So that's way I was groggy on the boat. They had drugged me. I couldn't remember that," she said.
"yeah, he said that Santos men had beaten him up in a cell at the bottom his mansion. He said that Alejandro had met you years ago when you represented a guy buying property from him. He said, Alejandro's men tortured him and he was locked in the room with you until we found you. He also said you looked like you were suffering and he was going to kill you so you would not have to suffer."
"What did you do to him, Chase?" Sasha swallowed hard. He looked at her.
"I took the pocket knife the guard had and slit his throat from one end to the other. I watched as his eyes widen in horror and walked away." Sasha shivered.
"Go on," she said.
"I called up Allen and when I got to the airport everyone was there. We loaded up on the plane and flew to Miami. I got the call that you were alive and I was relieved but I had to take care of this before I faced you. It was no way in hell that they wouldn't pay for what they did to you. Again I am sorry for not being there." He kissed her on the hand.
