Chase looked down at the body that was laying on the floor. His heart dropped in his chest. It was now or never. He walked over to the body and noticed it was a man. He thanked God and called Charlie over.
Charlie looked down. The man was wearing a uniform. "Is this the bellhop?" Charlie asked the desk clerk. When Charlie and Grant looked over the desk clerk was throwing up.
"We need to call the authorities." Charlie said. Grant shook his head.
"Yeah we better but we need to find Sasha. We need to look around before they get here."
They walked around looking over the place. Charlie examined the bathroom while Chase looked in the bedroom. Chase pulled back the covers and found the watch. There was a note attached.
Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock... Time is not your friend.
Grant stared at the note. How could this be? Who would want to take Sasha?
"Over here Charlie."
Charlie walked over to where Grant was standing. He looked down at the note. "Who knew that we would find this?"
"I don't know unless someone has been following us." Grant shook his head trying to figure out what was going on.
"You two must be the doctor's Teresa told us about," the officer said walking in the room.
"Yes sir," Chase said putting the note in his back pocket. Charlie and Chase gave them their statements and left.
Charlie ran to the room to check the monitor. He looked at the time on the monitor. He had missed the recording from the camera but his monitor was recording it. Chase walked over to Charlie and took a seat next to him.
"We can rewind our tape." Charlie rewinded the video footage back to around the time Sasha checked in. Chase watched as the bellhop let Sasha in the room. Two hours later the bellhop returned with a housekeeping cart. They watched as the bellhop unlocked her door and entered. He never once knocked on the door, making Chase angry. Ten minutes later someone else walked out the room and wheeled the cart out to the elevator. Charlie zeroed in on the face. What they saw floored them.
