Sans x Reader: Saving You

[OK GUYS! This one shot is based off a dream I had not too long ago! Bruh I'm not joking it was really cool and when I woke up I was all like just.... woah.... AND plus I'm sorry if you all thought it was swap.... sorry :( But he is coming soon!!! Btw in the pic frisk is you ok? OK ENOUGH OF MY CRAP LETS GET TO THE STORY!!!]

It was a normal day for you.

You woke up, got dressed, had breakfast, and went out to work. But little did you know that this day would be far beyond normal. It was growing dark and you were walking to your secret place. Basically it was just an open area where you just lay down and look at the stars. When you get there you see something, or someone, in the distance. You had never seen someone else here before. You slowly walked up behind them and lightly tapped them on the shoulder. "Um..... excuse me but uh, what are you doing here?" You ask nervously. They turn around and you see a..... skeleton in a blue hoodie???? Surprised, you let out a squeak and fell. He looked down at you and laughed. "Sorry if I scared you there, kid." He said. He helped you up and said, "I'm Sans, Sans the skeleton. Now, you must be REALLY confused about why there is a skeleton standing and talking in front of you. Well if you know about the story of monsters and humans then you will probably catch up on what is going on." He explained. You blinked in disbelief. "So, you are a monster????" You asked. He nodded his head. "Yup. A human named Frisk fell down Mt. Ebott and freed all of the monsters." He said. "No WAY!!! SO YOU ARE A MONSTER!!!!???" Sans nodded. "I'm 100% bones and magic." You smiled."Wow..... wait until I tell my parents about this!" He chuckled and said, "Well, what's your name?" You look at him. "My name is (Y/n)."

Two years of peace and hanging out with Sans and his brother and friends didn't last long...

A group of humans killed some monsters and a war broke out. You cried in a room with Sans right beside you. Your parents were dead, Frisk is gone, Papyrus and a few others are dead too. All you had left was Sans, Undyne,Toriel, Mettaton, Flowey, and Asgore. You and Sans were currently trying to reach the base that they had made for both monsters and humans. Papyrus died from your now ex boyfriend. Pretty sure Sans killed him... And Alphys died by humans and monsters when she tried to reason with them. Everything that you ever had has been shattered into a million pieces never to be fixed again.

You were now sleeping and Sans was keeping watch. Suddenly, the door was kicked down. You woke up from the sound and was frozen in fear. There was a man standing in front of you two with a gun pointed at Sans. "Sans!" The man looked at you and shouted, "Shut the f*ck up!" You instantly shut your mouth and flinched. The man turned to Sans. "I know what you are doing... You are using her to lead her to the other humans and then you will just kill the rest of us off... isn't that right..?" Sans didn't say anything. The man laughed. "Did I hurt your feelings? Oh wait, I can't, cuz you don't have any feelings don't you?! You all just want to see us break!" He pulls the trigger...

[I know this is a really bad time to do this but..... chose one!

He pulls the trigger.

BAM

Blood is spilled onto the floor. Your waist hurts with a piercing sharp wave of pain. You let out a scream of agony. The man drops his gun and runs out with wide eyes knowing that he shot his own kind. Sans rushes over to you. "(Y/N)!" He looks at your gunshot wound. "Oh god....." He looks terrified right now. He gets some bandages (not band aids XD) and wraps them on the wound. The bandages still didn't stop the bleeding. Your eyes were blurred with tears and they felt heavy. The sharp pain on your side felt like it was fading. "(Y/n). P-please don't d-die! I d-don't want t-to lose you like P-Papyrus. JUST PLEASE STAY WITH ME!!!" Sans said with tears streaming down his face. You cried more. Sans held you tight. "Please..... (y/n)..... I love you..... I need you to be by my side..... I don't know what I would do without you..." You looked up at him for the last time and managed to choke out, "I...love...You...too...Sans...." You closed your eyes for the last time and then went limp.

He pulls the trigger.

Your eyes widened with terror. The man had just shot Sans. You quickly ran to Sans. He was breathing lightly. He had a hole in his head where the bullet was shot. You quickly and swiftly ran up to the man and punched him across the face. He dropped his gun. You picked up the gun and pointed it at him. "Get... out..." You said. He didn't budge. You shot the floor right next to him and shouted, "GET THE F*CK OUT!!!" He ran out. You dropped the gun and went back to Sans. "Sans?" You asked to see if he was still with you. He let out a grunt. You let out a sigh of relief. "Oh thank god I thought you were dead..." You grabbed some bandages and realized that he was fading? You ran over to him and saw dust. "Oh god no! Sans! Please stay with me!" You wailed. You wouldn't be able to live without him. "Heh... *cough* ....I...can't stay for long.....sorry..." Sans said weakly. More and more of him started to turn into dust. "Sans......" You whispered out. He reached up his bony hand and cupped your cheek.    "(Y/n)..." Sans said with tears pouring out. "Sans! Please! I love you! Don't die on me, okay! Just- Please! Stay with me!" You cried out, your voice mixed with many emotions. "I...love you...too...(Y/n)..." His hand then disintegrated into dust and soon he was nothing put a pile of dust and a blue hoodie. You take a handful of Sans' dust. Your eyes widened and more tears formed in your eyes. You take a hold of Sans' hoodie and cried into it. You had just lost your love...

He pulled the trigger.

BAM

He had struck Sans in the head and you screamed. "SANS!" He turned to you and pointed his gun at you. Before you fell into darkness, you heard a gunshot.

You woke up in a forest. It felt familiar. You looked around your surroundings and found that it was the forest that had your secret place. It was dark. You knew your way and went the trail you always took. You saw someone familiar standing at the other side. The moon was out and fireflies were illuminating the field of flowers. You saw Sans, smiling at you. "(Y/n)! Over here!" He called out to you. Tears welded up in your eyes and you ran towards him. You tackled him into a loving embrace. You placed your lips onto his teeth as a kiss. He kissed back. The two of you broke the kiss and Sans said, "C'mon! The others are waiting for us." You wondered who the others were,but when he held your hand and led you to the end of the field, you immediately knew who they were. You saw Papyrus, Alphys, your parents, and many more deceased people who were close to you. Tears fell from your eyes and smiled, following Sans into the white light that you felt overwhelm you with happiness and joy.

Welp... that was really fun to make! Holy mother of Asgore I almost cried while making this. BTW, the actual ending I got in my dream was A. I literally thought I died but then I'm like Undertale isn't real stupid. So yeah... well... anyway I hoped you all enjoyed this! TOODLES~

1. I didn't meet sans like that I just.... met him...

2. I really did die in my dream from the guy.

3. War did break out.

4. I was kissed by Sans in my dream before I 'died'.

5. I did make a drawing of this dream.
