The idea of sleep is soothing to most people. The fact that for a little while, you can drift into oblivion is comforting to those who want to escape the horrid events life throws at us. Oh, how I wish I could sleep! But instead I lay down with my eyes closed with no way to leave the living hell in which I live.
Most of my nights are spent in my room, dwelling on painful human memories that changed my life forever. But I wouldn't change a thing. No, that would be too easy. So I continue to wander through my eternal existence in hopes that someday, I will find the very thing that will make my miserable immortal life worth living. But that day will not be far from now, I am sure of it! I have a feeling it will come soon, but of course, it won't come in the way I want it to, because that would be too easy.
