*Jayden's POV*

After Jack left, I just sat, looking at the door for like 2 minutes straight. The shut door. Why did I stare at it like that? After I finally moved my eyes, I walked up every stair.

I slowly opened the door to Ethan's room and I walked in. He was sitting on his bed in the dark room, silent. It was honestly kind of scary.

"E?" I said waiting for a reply. But, that was useless. He wouldn't talk to me. What did I do this time?

"Ethan! Talk to me." I said raising my voice. Soon, Grayson came tumbling in.

"What's going on?" he asked and Ethan said nothing.

"I'm not sure... He won't talk to me." I said and Gray didn't say anything either. Then, Ethan got up and walked towards us.

He let his shoulder run in to me as he passed.

"The only thing wrong here, is my whore of a girlfriend..." He said to Grayson, walking out of the door.

I stood in shock. I had no idea what to say. It was just Grayson and I standing there, silent as can be.

"What's going on?" Grayson asked quietly.

"I have no idea. Nothing even happened!" I said and Cameron walked in.

"What is going on? I heard a knock at the door like 10 minutes ago. Is everything alright?" she asked and this was when all the emotions started building up.

I just shook my head. But, I held back all of the tears.

"Jack came to the door. He wanted to talk to me. But, that can't be the problem. Ethan came upstairs before... anything happened." I said and Cameron shook her head.

"He came back down the stairs. He was probably spying. He does that all the time. He was 'spying.' What could he have seen to make him mad?" she asked and I thought back.

"Jack grabbed my butt!" I yelled and ran down the stairs. I almost tripped, too. I went down quickly, and saw him sitting straight up on the couch.

He stared at the dark wall.

He said nothing...

"Ethan?" I asked and he slowly moved his head towards me. But, again, he said nothing.

"Ethan? Why did you say that stuff when we were upstairs?" I said with a little hurt in my heart. Then, I felt my eyes start to water. But, I refused to let them fall.

*Ethan's POV*

I refused to speak to Jayden when we were upstairs. But, when I spoke at all, it was hateful towards Jayden. But, I didn't say it to her. I said it to Grayson.

I walked out of the room letting my shoulder run into her on my way out, and I went downstairs. I sat on the couch and stared at the wall.

About 5 minutes later, Jayden yelled from upstairs. I thought she must've found out why I was mad. She soon came running down the stairs. Then, she stopped.

She slowly walked over to me and her eyes filled up with water.

"Ethan?" she said wanting me to speak. But, I remained silent... I was not going to waist my time talking to her.

"Ethan? Why did you say that stuff when we were upstairs?" she asked softly and more water came to her eyes. But, I could tell she wasn't going to let one tear fall from her eye.

When she asked this, I saw the hurt in her eyes. That was when I finally spoke.

"You didn't stop him, or even say anything..." I said and she knew exactly what I was talking about. I could tell...

"Ethan... I don't like Jack." she said softly. But, I truly thought otherwise.

"Really, because, you told him you loved him, several times..." I replied and she sat down next to me.

"Ethan. I love you. You know I love you. Do you really want to fight?" she asked and I didn't know what to say.

"I don't want to fight... But, I don't want to forgive..." I said and she frowned.

"Well, that just doesn't make sense! I didn't do anything!" she raised her voice at me.

"Yeah! That's the thing! You didn't do anything!" I yelled back and my Mom came down the stairs, mad.

"Stop yelling at each other! You guys love each other! Start acting like it! Now get your butts upstairs! I'm sick of fighting!" Mom said and Jay and I both gave her confused looks.

"What are you talking about?" I asked and she sighed.

"Sit down..." she finally said and Jay and I didn't hesitate. We knew she was serious.

"What's wrong?" Jay asked softly and my Mother looked hurt.

"Well, your Dad and I are having issues..." she said and I didn't know what to say.

"What?" I asked hoping that I misheard her or something. But, that was no hope because, when she said it again, it sounded exactly the same as it did the first time.

"Does Gray and Cameron know?" I asked with a little crack in my voice.

"Yeah. They both know... I just didn't know how you would react to this... You've always been close to your Dad... So, I thought I'd let you know before you leave tomorrow..." she said and I didn't know what to say.

I looked over at Jay and she put her hand on the back of my head and pulled me to her shoulder. This was the most comforting hug, that I have ever gotten.

Then, I stood up, so, I could hug her really tight, back. I wrapped my hands around her waist and she wrapped her arms around my neck.

She could barely reach my neck though. But, it was so cute how she got on her tippy toes to reach.

I finally picked her up and she wrapped her legs around me, so, she didn't have to reach for me. We just sat there and hugged for a few minutes.

I don't even remember my Mom leaving. But, when I put Jay down. My Mom was gone. She was probably already asleep upstairs.
