I woke up this morning to Ethan knocking on my door. It was about 6am. I rushed over to open my door, in only a sports bra and leggings.

He looked up and down my body and then, back up to my eyes. He handed me the house phone.

"Your doctor called. Said it was an emergency..." he told me and my eyes got big. I was a little surprised at the news. I took the phone, and Ethan still stood by the door, listening to my side of the conversation.

*Phone Call*
(Jayden: J/ D:Doctor.)

J: Hello?
D: Hi Jayden. This is doctor Darvy... We need you to come in as soon as you can.
J: Oh. Okay. I'll leave now.

I put down the phone, very worried.

"What is it?" Ethan asked and I shook my head, unsure.

"They need to see me, as soon as I can come in." I replied and he didn't know what to say.

"Well, I'm coming with you." he said and I shook my head.

"I don't know." I said scared and he smiled.

"Oh. You don't get a choice..." he said and I giggled.

"Okay. Well, I'm going to get ready. Then, we can leave." I told him and he walked out of my room, shutting the door behind him.

I finished getting dressed, and Ethan drove me to the hospital. We walked in and they immediately pulled me into a room.

"Hi Jayden." my doctor said, as I sat down on the bed.

"What's wrong?" I asked and she smiled.

"Well, we found out what's wrong with you..." she said and I got nervous for the answer. But, I kept eye contact. I wished Ethan and Grayson were in the room with me.

*Ethan's POV*

I sat in the waiting room, waiting for Jayden to come out, and it took about 10 minutes for me to start getting really nervous about Jayden.

So, I walked up to the front desk and the lady looked up at me.

"Hi... Um, could you possibly tell me why it's taking so long for Jayden to come out? Do you know what's wrong with her?" I asked the lady and she raised one eyebrow at me.

"Wait. They didn't take you back there?" she asked and I nodded.

"Oh my... That's unusual." she said. Then, she got onto her computer.

"Why is that unusual?" I asked nervous.

"Oh. Well, it's just, you don't see that with many kids your age... How old are you... 18 or something?" she asked me and I shook my head.

"16." I told her and her eyes got big.

"Oh. Wow... Let me look..." she said.

"Well, there's nothing. It just says that she's ill." she said and I turned around slowly.

"Oh... Wait. It's changing. But, I won't be able to know what's wrong, until they submit their information sheet... I'll let you know if anything happens." she said and I started to walk again. I sat down nervous, and waited.

About 10 more minutes of waiting. Jay finally walked into the waiting room. I stood up quick and looked at her.

"So, what's wrong?" I asked and she sighed.

"Im... just sick." she said upset and I nodded. I could tell she was sad. I could only imagine being sick, and not knowing anything about my own illness.

"Okay. But, are you feeling any better than what you were?" I asked and she shook her head, as her eyes got watery.

"I feel worse..." she said and I was surprised at how she was talking. Jay was usually jokingly, happy. But, she defiantly wasn't acting that way, then.

She hid it from me though. She walked outside to the car and I wasn't sure what was going on.

On the way home it was silent. So, I decided to make some conversation.

"So... How are you and Gray doing?" I asked and she looked over at me weird.

"It's okay. You can talk to me about this stuff. I won't get mad." I told her and she nodded.

"Well, we've been doing great... But," she said and I looked over at her.

"But?" I asked and she shook her head.

"Oh. Nothing... I forgot what I was going to say." she replied and I just went along with it. But, I could tell she wasn't herself.

Once we finally got to the apartments, we walked inside and Jay went straight for her room. She slammed the door behind her and I could hear her lock it.

Gray was sitting on the couch watching tv. I sat down by him and he looked over at me.

"What's wrong with her?" he asked and I wasn't sure what to say.

"I have no idea... But, she's defiantly hiding something from us." I told him and he raised his eyebrows at me.

"She is?" he asked, and I nodded, yes.
