*Jayden's POV*
"Where do you think Gray went?" Ethan asked me and I shook my head in disappointment.
"He's probably back at the apartment." I told him and he nodded.
"Do you think he'll leave, when we get there?" he asked again and I looked over.
"...No..." I said unsure. Then, silence took over until I decided to break it.
"You ready?" I asked and he nodded.
"Yeah... But, can you promise me something?" he asked with a nervous attitude.
"What's that?" I asked and he looked down.
"Can you please, never hurt yourself again?" he said and I looked down.
"Ethan... I really do try not to." I told him and he shook his head.
"Why did you do it?" he asked and I thought back.
"I didn't know how else to release my stress..." I told him and he scratched his head.
"Just please... Don't ever do it again." he replied.
"I don't think you need to worry... Right after I did it... I don't know... I thought I was going to die... and... I really didn't want that." I told him and we walked outside.
Ethan wasn't sure what to say. He tried to find words. But, he gave up.
"You ready to go home?" he asked me, breaking the silence.
"Yeah... Let's go." I said and we got in the car.
We drove home in silence. The dead kind of silence.

We walked into the apartment and Grayson wasn't there. I walked into his room and all of his stuff was gone.
"He left... He packed up and left..." I told Ethan and he looked at his feet.
"I know where he is." Ethan said and I quickly looked over at him.
"What? How?" I asked surprised.
"He's at Jake's... I just know that's where he went." he said again, getting out his phone.
*Ethan's POV*
•Texts•
Ethan: Bro. Why'd you leave?
Grayson: You guys will do just fine without me.
Ethan: Gray! You can't just leave us!
Grayson: I already did...
Ethan: So, I'm supposed to take care of this pregnant woman for 6 more months, all on my own?!
Grayson: I guess so.
Ethan: No! We both signed up to live with her! We both get the consequences!
Grayson: I'm not helping you.
Ethan: Why?!
Grayson: I'm not the one that got her pregnant...

"I guess we're on our own..." I told Jay and she looked down. Grayson was right...
"That's his choice..." she replied walking into her room.
