"You better run!" I cried as I chased our son around the house. He giggled loudly, continuing to run as fast as his chubby little legs could carry him. Today I had the unfortunate task of having to feed the little monster while Rori was at her therapy session.
The last three years has been hard for the three of us. We got married a year after Jackson was born, a decision we both agreed was best. Rori still battles with her depression every day, but since our son was she has been feeling a lot better. I know, that at the back of her mind she feels like all of this could end any moment but we've been working on trying to accept that happiness rather than be afraid of it. These days, the Jamieson household was bursting with love and laughter just how I had imagined my life to turn out.
The restaurant has not yet earned its Michelin star, mostly because I cut back the number of days I would spend there so I could watch my son grow up. With Rori still dealing with her issues, she wasn't always able to be there for our son and that was okay. Of course that's not saying she was a bad mother, her bond with Olivia was clear that she wasn't. I pushed her to continue to go to therapy. I wanted her to be happy with who she was and her life. In return, she showered us with unconditional love and candy.
"Honeys I'm home!" She called as she closed the door behind her.
"Mommy!" Jack screamed, running towards her.
"My baby!" She cried, lifting him up and twirled him around. He giggled the whole time he was in his mother's arms. "I missed you so much today." He clung to her shoulders as she carried him into the living room.
"Where's my hug?" I asked, frowning. She grinned at me, putting Jack down.
"Here." she wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me into a deep kiss. I wrapped my own arms around her waist, pressing her closer to me.
"Mommy!" Jack cried from the playroom. We broke apart laughing.
"Go I'll start on dinner." I pecked her lips once more before she went to her calling. Since the day he was born he is wrapped around his little finger. I was in awe of the bundle of joy we both created and would do anything for him.
Jackson was definitely a momma's boy though. He demanded her attention when she was gone, but like the trooper she was never tired to give him what he wanted and more. We were content, just the three of us but I wanted more kids. We hadn't breached the topic yet, we were still trying to figure out having a child but I wasn't sure Rori wanted to try for another one so soon after having Jack. Just as I was putting the rice cooker on, the doorbell rang.
"Were you expecting anyone A?" I called, walking to the hallway.
"No?" She said, coming out herself with Jack on her hip. I opened the door to see Felicity and her fiancé standing there with cheeky expressions their faces and a dish of food and a bottle of wine.
"Can we come in?" Felicity asked.
"Yes of course!" Rori smiled.
"How's my favourite nephew?" She cooed.
"Fi, he's your only nephew." I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever." She just continued to play with Jack.
"Frankie how's your mom?"
"Oh she's out of the hospital now, but it looks like things are going to get better now." He replied.
"That's good." I clapped him on the back.
"Is that my favourite bottle of Merlot I see?" I asked, as he placed the bottle in the fridge. "What are we celebrating?"
"Does there need to be a reason to celebrate?" Felicity asked. The doorbell rang again and before I knew it my house was full with all our friends and family.
"Was there a party I didn't know about?" I asked, frowning at my busy kitchen.
"Happy 30th my love," Rori grinned, kissing me on the lips as a pregnant Jess brought in a large cake.
"I completely forgot it was my birthday!" I laughed as my friends clapped while Jess placed the cake on the island with Jack and Katie, Jess' daughter, running between our legs.
"Make a wish." Rori said. Closing my eyes I wished for an infinity with Rori and her love. Everyone started clapping.
"Damn I've hit the dreaded 30s now." I sighed.
"Now, now dear brother. No need to get all sad and soppy. You're still young. Sort of." Felicity giggled.
Rori's arm wrapped around my torso as my own curved around her shoulder while her head rested on my shoulder. I smiled at the life we had created. We were surrounded with so much love, I couldn't have asked for anything more.

There is it! The ending of 15.06, and the ending of Rori and Christian's love story. It's been a long few years but I'm glad that I could finally end it on a happy note. Just a few points I wants to add about the other characters:
-Felicity and Frankie are engaged.
-Ben gets married. He and his husband adopt twins. They were at the party too.
-Oliver is still a player, but currently he's in a steady relationship.
-Jess marries a doctor and they have a daughter the same age as Jack and she is pregnant with their second child.
-Jack (Jackson) was named after Rori's older brother who died honourably, fighting in the war.
-Christian's parents are retired now and are enjoying seeing the world.
-Donny and Lillian are also retired, and moved to Florida to spend their retirement in the sun.
I just want to mention, thanks to @Destined_Hope9 who suggested Rori should use her original name, Aurora.
So that's all folks. I have finally concluded this story. I hope you have enjoyed the ride as much as I have and I hope to be starting new projects in the new future. Until then...
I love you all for the support you have given me through Aurora and 15.06. I won't be writing any spin off's mostly because I'm done with these characters. I love them to bits, but I want pursue something different.
Thank you
Love
Neha xx
