I wake up to the very welcoming feeling of my headache in an unfamiliar room. It was a single bed, in a room painted with grey walls. I had absolutely no idea where I was but I intended to find out.
I got out of the bed and stretched my arms, really starting to get to kick of a hangover. I stumble to the door and twist it so that it opens. In front of me, is this long ass hall. Well not really long. Probably just a couple of feet, I'm just dizzy right now I can't see straight.
I walk down the hall and take a left to see a kitchen with someone back onto me. He must have heard my footsteps because he turns around to greet me.
"Well hello hello hello! Good morning! Madeline is it?" He asks, in an all too familiar voice. Buddy Robinson.
"Madison. I prefer Maddie," I say giving him a little smile. "But good morning to you too!" I say making my way over to the counter.
"Oh I'm sorry about that, I didn't really understand Ryan last night." He says to me as he flips over the pancakes he was making. Shit. Ryan. Last night. It's starting to come back to me now.
"You don't remember last night, do you?" He asks me putting the scrambled eggs on the plates in front of me.
"No ugh, not really." I say and give a fake laugh. I really couldn't remember much. I told myself I shouldn't have drank anything. All I remember is being at the bar with Ryan, and that game or whatever, and then Ab- Oh shit. Abby. She doesn't know where I am. She's gonna kill me I can feel it.
"Listen, I uh- I gotta go. My best friend is gonna be worried about me, and I, I haven't talked to her since last night." I say running to the front door. Well I'm hoping it was the front door. I notice my shoes are there so I mean, I'm assuming.
"Are you sure?" Buddy asks me, raising an eyebrow. "You can wait until Ryan get up, and we can drive you? You don't even know where you are, we want to make sure you get home" He says to me making his way closer to me.
"No no no, that's fine. I'll uh, I'll just get going! I'll find my way somehow! See you later, thanks!!" I say running out the door and into the streets. Luckily, I knew where I was. And if I was going to walk, it would take about 45 minutes. Great.

"OKAY ABBY, BEFORE YOU GET MAD, I CAN EXPLAIN EVERYTHING. I HOPE YOU WEREN'T WORRIED." I say the second I enter the house.
"Me? Worried? About YOU? Yeah right." I hear her say from her room. I smile to myself and make my way into her room, and flop next to her on her bed.
"You love me Abigail." I say to her, hitting her shoulder.
"Yeah whatever Madison." She says back to me, hitting me twice as hard. We both laugh for a couple minutes, and then turn on the tv.
"So, where were you though last night? I'm not asking because I care, because I don't, I'm asking out of curiosity." She says as she sticks her nose in the air.
"I know you care, don't worry. But uhmmmmmmmmmm I ugh-" I start to get out. I didn't really want to tell her because I knew she'd ask for details, which is something that I didn't have.
"Madison. What did you do this time? Were you at the hospital? Did you fall down some stairs or something?" She says, sitting up straight.
"Okay well I honestly don't know. I woke up last night in... ugh. Ryan Dzi-"
"YOU WHAT?!" She said to me slapping my arm. "Shut the fuck up you're lying."
I sit up with her and put my face in my hands. "Abby I really don't know. I remember meeting him last night. At the bar. But I didn't remember going anywhere."
"Okay well how do you know that's where you were?" She asks me.
"Welllllllll when I woke up, Buddy Robinson was cooking and asked if I wanted to wait for Ryan to wake up to drive me home. I don't know, I just want to forget it all. I'm so confused." I say looking at her.
"Well..... that's a nice story for your kids!! How their parents met!" She says jumping up from the couch, running towards the bathroom.
I run after her, screaming that I'm going to kill her.
"Hey, now you calm down." She says to me, backing away from me. "Go get ready for the game." She says.
I look at my phone and it's 3:30. I guess she's right. I might want to take a shower.
"Fine fine fine, I'll go get a shower." I say turning around.
"Perfect. I'll be on FaceTime with Jacob. Don't drown!" She says making her way back to her room.
I get in the shower, and all I can think about was last night. I keep trying to remember what happened I just can't. I guess I'll never know.
Then it hit me. I would be seeing them at the game tonight. I hope they don't see me. Even though I have seats in the front row.
Yay! I can't wait to see them!!
