I haven't met Jacob before, so I was hoping Abby didn't mention anything about the bsens so he doesn't hate me. But honestly I don't care, he would find out anyway since he was staying the first couple of nights with us.
"Attention, Flight 679 with service from Toronto and St. John's has just arrived at gate 5."
"Madison!!! That's it!! It's him!! I haven't seen him since July, I can't wait to see him!" Abby says to me, with the biggest smile on her face.
We make our way over to gate 5 to wait for the passengers to come off. Of course Jacob is the last one off.
Abby ran over to him, dropping everything she had, which was luckily only her purse. She hugged him so tight, and it made me really jealous for some reason. I've never seen Abby this happy before though, so I have to be happy. I just really want a cute relationship like that.
I'm brought out of my thoughts when Abby brings Jacob over to me.
"Jacob, this is my best friend, I guess, Maddie. But call her Madison to piss her off." She adds, giving me a punch on the shoulder.
"Nice to meet you Maddie!" Jacob says in his Swedish accent as he shakes my hand.
"He didn't call me Madison! I like him already!" I say, patting him on the back, earning a laugh from the 3 of us.
"So, are you hungry?" Abby asks him as they link arms.
"You know, I really could go for something to eat." He says smiling.
"Well, luckily for you," Abby says poking his chest. "There's a killer restaurant right by our place. We could bring your bags home, and then go out?"
"Sounds like a plan!" Jacob says.
"Mads, are you up for that?" Abby asks me.
I wasn't really hungry, but if she really wanted me to go, I would. Just for her. Which I don't know why I would do it for her. But I guess I was going.
"Uh yeah, sounds good to me too, I'm in!" I say trying to give a smile. I knew I was going to be the third wheel tonight. I just wish that Ryan could be there with me so I wasn't alone.

"Table for three!" Abby says to the waitress as she takes three menus from under the podium and tells us to follow her. I already felt awkward being the second choice tonight.
"And here you guys are! If there's anything else you guys need, just ask!" She says as she walks away to get the people at the door.
It's me on one side of the booth, and Abby and Jacob on the other. It feels so weird. I don't like it one bit, but it's for her, so I'll just have to live.
"Mads what are you getting?" Abby asks me still looking at her menu.
"Uh... I don't know, I'll probably just get a soup, it might help my throat a little bit." I say clearing my throat. Ever since last night, my throat has been a little dry, and no matter how much I drink, nothing helps.
"I'm gonna get a chicken salad!" She says, looking over at Jacob.
"That doesn't sound too bad," Jacob says looking down at the salad on his menu. "I might get that too!" He says.
"Perfect!" Abby says, as she smiles at her boyfriend, and then at me. I try to put on my best smile for her.

"Oh god, I'm stuffed." Abby says leaning against the wall, laying her fork down on her plate.
I haven't really eaten much today. I wasn't in the mood to eat and I certainly didn't feel the best. But it would pass.
"Listen, I'm gonna go to the bathroom." I say, excusing myself from the table to go to the bathroom. I try to walk fast, just so I could get away from the table, and into the bathroom. I open the door and look at myself in the mirror. I look really pale. I just put some water on my face, and try to cool down a little bit.
I open the door, feeling a little bit better, and my eyes land on the one and only, Ryan Dzingel. Of course. I hope he saves me from this night.
I try not to put the attention on myself as I walk out but he notices me.
"Maddie! Hey!" He says to me, motioning for me to come over. I walk over to him and flash a smile.
"Hey!" I say, trying not to be so pale anymore.
"What are you doing here?!" He asks me, putting his hand on my shoulder.
"I came her with Abby and her boyfriend." I say, pointing down to them. They seem to be really enjoying each other.
"Jacob de la Rose?" He asks, putting his attention back to me.
"Yeppppp." I say, popping the p.
"Well... I have better hair." He says, running his hands through his hair. I let out a small laugh at how ridiculous he looks.
"Here, you go tell them that you're leaving with me, and I'll take you back to my place. I can make something there, and hopefully not burn it this time." He says laughing. "And you can stay the night too if you want!"
"Perfect. Anything to get me out of here!" I say making my way towards my best friend.
"Abby, I'm leaving now, I really don't feel well, but I'll talk to you later." I say, not waiting for a reply. I didn't mean to be rude, I just didn't want to stay there.
I put a 20 dollar bill, along with a 5 dollar bill on the table to pay for what I ate. I make my way back to Ryan, and we go back to his place.
We were sitting in the car, driving, singing, and laughing. I was really enjoying myself. Then, out of fucking no where, Ryan puts his hand right on my thigh. I jump a little bit at first, but then I just look out the window, and bite down on my tongue. I don't want to make a fool of myself and, yeah.
Then the fucker starts to move his hands up and down my leg. I think he looks over at me sometime during the whole thing, I just didn't notice.
My legs started to feel weak, and then my head started to pound. I just didn't want to make a big deal of it.
"Anddddd we're here!" Ryan says unbuckling his seat belt and stepping out of the car. I follow and do the same, as I walk with him.
We get to the door, and he allows me to enter first. What a gentleman.
"So what did you want to d-" I start to say, until I'm turned around and my lips are brought up to his. I didn't really expect it, but just like the first time I kissed him, I wouldn't complain.
This kiss felt really different though. I don't know what it was, but it was more intense. And I really liked it.
Of course, our tongues intertwined, and I felt like I was never going to get air again.
Somehow, we found his way to his bedroom. I have no idea how, I didn't even know we were moving. He lifts me up, and sets me down on the bed, and hovers over me. He immediately locks our lips again, and then he trails down my neck. Andddddd I guess I have a sweet spot.
I let out a small moan that not even an elephant would hear. Yes, I just compared a noise I made to an elephant.
I can feel him smirk against me, as he connects our lips again.
After about 5 minutes, we slow down a little bit.
"Maddie, are you sure about this?" He asks, still hovering above me.
I start to think. Am I really ready to do this? With my favourite hockey player, who I just met like 2 days ago?
"I.... No..." I say, looking away from him, so I wouldn't see the disappointment in his eyes.
He just puts his finger under my chin, and kisses me. But this kiss was softer.
"Don't feel ashamed. I'll wait." He says, flopping next to me. I curl up next to him, and within the next 10 minutes, I fall asleep, with my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.
