Parts 11+12

Part 11

Both girls woke up in the morning filled with excitement about seeing their baby both girls got showered and dressed and went down stairs for breakfast to find Joan sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of tea in her hands

“Morning girls” Joan said with a smile

“Morning Joan” Kim said

“Morning Mam did you sleep well” Cheryl asked

“Like a baby” Joan smiled

Kimberley put the kettle on and poured some cereal into two bowls

Both girls drank their teas and ate their cereal and headed to the car as they walked out of the door they heard the paparazzi cameras flashing away and their names being called out, they got in Kimberley’s car and drove of to the hospital

Cheryl and Kimberley were sat in the waiting area for 15 minutes when Kimberley noticed that a couple were staring at them she guessed it was because of the statement they released yesterday as she was thinking this she heard Cheryl’s name being called by the nurse

“You coming in with me baby” Cheryl asked

“Of course babes” Kim replied

Both girls walked into the room and Cheryl was told to lie down on the bed and lift her top up

“This may feel cold” the nurse said as she applied a cold gel on Cheryl’s stomach

Cheryl flinched at the contact of the cold gel

The nurse moved the sensor around her stomach

“Oh my god” the nurse said suddenly

“What” both girls said

“Is something wrong?”

“No not at all”

“Well what is it then” Cheryl said

“Well by the looks of it miss tweedy your expecting twins” the nurse replied with a warm smile

“Oh my god what like two babies really” Cheryl said grinning with her dimples on full show Cheryl turned her head to face Kim and noticed she has the same big grin on her face

“We’re having two babies!” Kimberley said

“I know” Cheryl replied the nurse moved the sensor around a bit more until a light thudding could be heard

“And there are the two heart beats” the nurse said to the girls, Both girls had tears in their eyes at the sounds of the babies heart beats

“Would you like pictures” the nurse asked

“Yes please “ Cheryl replied  Cheryl wiped the gel off her stomach and got down from the bed the nurse handed the pictures to her and the girls headed out to the car  Once inside the car Cheryl spoke

“I can’t believe we are having twins”

“I know amazing isn’t it” Kim replied with a smile

“Wait till we tell the girls and me mam and your family” Cheryl said as Kimberley started the car

“I will have to phone my mum tonight and will invite the girls round later yeah?” Kim said

“Yeah that sounds good baby” Cheryl lent over to Kim and hugged her tightly and kissed her on the lips

Both girls sat in the car talking about their babies both getting excited of the thought of having two little babies in the family.  

Part 12

Both girls arrived home to find that the house was empty and found a note on the fridge from Joan

Just gone out shopping shouldn’t be long

“Awww bless me mam for leaving a little note I swear every time she comes down here she just wants to shop” Cheryl said laughing at the end of her sentence Kimberley put the kettle on and got two cups out from the cupboard put tea bags in the cups ad sugar she then turned to Cheryl and embraced her in a tight hug

“I love you baby”

“I love you too baby” Cheryl said with a smile playing in her lips she broke away from the hug but still had her arms around Kimberley’s neck she kissed Kimberley passionately , they broke away from the kiss as air was needed and the kettle had boiled

“Do you want to phone the girls while I phone my mum?” Kim asked Cheryl

“Yeah okay then babes” Cheryl said as she took her cup from Kimberley Cheryl went in the front room to phone each of the girls while Kimberley stayed in the kitchen to ring her mum

The phone rang a few times before her mother answered

“Hello Kimberley love you okay?”

“Hey mum yeah I’m okay I thought I’d ring as me and Cheryl have some new”

“Oh what’s that dear” her mum said

“well you know me and Cheryl went to the scan today well we had a little surprise when we went we found out we are having twins”

“Aww that's brilliant news Kimberley how are you and Cheryl are you both happy with that”

“Yeah we are very happy and excited”

“Well that’s good dear”

The women stayed on the phone for a further 10 minutes and then they said their goodbyes Kimberley walked into the living room where Cheryl was still on the phone

“Okay then nic we will see you at 8 then bye babes love ya” Cheryl ended the call and turned to Kimberley

“How did your mam take the news” she asked Kim

“She took it very well she is really happy for the both of us, what did you say to the girls?”

“Oh I just said that we would like to see them to tell them something together” Cheryl replied

Both girls sat down on the sofa and cuddled up together and watched some TV waiting for the time when the girls would get there.
