Part 23

Cheryl parked her car and got out to meet her mum she was standing by the sidewalk outside the train station cheryl walked up to her and hugged her

"hiya mam u okay how was the journey" cheryl asked her mum

"yeah I'm fine the journey was fine"

"come on then lets get going" cheryl said walking to her car Both women got in the car and cheryl started to drive back to her and kimberley's house

kimberley woke up to an empty bed she wondered down stairs and she still couldn't find cheryl she guessed she went out to the shops or something so she made herself a cup of tea and sat in the front room and flicked on the TV she watched it for awhile until she heard cheryl's key go in the lock

"KIMBA" cheryl shouted

"I'm here babes" kim replied back

cheryl walked in followed by her mum

"oh hello Joan I didn't know you would be down" kimberley said hugging the older woman

"yeah I'm only here to help for when the twins are born"

"oh right that's sweet of you Joan thank you"

"its no problem at all sweetheart" both cheryl and joan sat down with cheryl next to kim and joan on the other sofa the women spoke for awhile until kimberley went upstairs to get dressed in that time cheryl had choose to tell her mum about the phone call from derek

"I cant believe he has done that to you sweetheart are you alright?"

"yeah mam I'm fine I mean it was a shock when I first heard but I've had time think it over and this way it is easier on us and for the babies you know that way they will only have a mummy and a mammy"

"alright dear as long as your okay with that though"

"I'm fine about it I know kim will make a great mother"

"and so will you darling"

"thanks mum I will try my best if I can give them every you gave me then I will be fine"

"aw that's sweet darling all I did was be there for you whenever you needed"

"mam you did more than that and you know it" cheryl smiled with her dimples on show

Kimberley came down stairs at that moment and sat next to cheryl

"so joan how have you been?" kimberley asked the older Geordie

"yeah I'm fine sweetheart how about you?"

"yes I've been fine just making sure cheryl here has been okay and stress free" kim laughed at the end of her sentence

"aww she been causing you trouble"

"I have not " cheryl said laughing

"I know cheryl I was joking" joan said there was a knock at the door and cheryl said

"are we expecting anyone?"

"I don't think so I will get it"

kimberley opened the door to find nicola there with red eyes and wet cheeks

"babes what's happened come on come in" kimberley said hugging the girl as she came in through the door

"Me and charlie had a huge row and I just packed a few things and walked out" the younger girl said crying all over again

"babes who is it" cheryl said coming into the hallway to be met with a crying nicola in kim's arms

"aww babes what's happened" cheryl said to nicola so kimberley explained as so nicola didn't have to go through it again
