Chapter 34 - Undecided

 Grayson's Point Of View
       I had finished changing out of the tuxedo I had had on for the last coupe of days and went downstairs to get a snack. I heard it really quiet, but I had just figured Ethan and Jenni fell asleep. As I was walking, I saw Ethan was really close to Jenni. As I got closer, I realized he wasn't just really close, he was making out with her. 

    I couldn't believe either of them would do this to me.  I thought Jenni was happy being with me, but obviously looked like she was happier with Ethan. I thought Ethan was going to let me have Jenni, but I guess I was wrong about that too.

   "Jenni! Ethan! What the fuck do you think your doing?" I yelled as I got down to the bottom of the stairs.  Jenni looked up and saw me, clearly seeing I was angry. 

    "Grayson, I'm so sorry! It just happened!" Jenni yelled back at me in apology. I could tell she was lying straight through her teeth. If she really was sorry, she wouldn't have done anything.

   "Why did you go along with it? I thought you loved me!"

   "I do Grayson, but it was just one time, can't you just let it go?" Jenni asked. I couldn't believe how inconsiderate she was. She only cared about how she felt, and didn't care for my feelings at all.

  "Jenni I could care less if you guys just kissed once! You guys kissed! It is a big deal and if you really wanted to be with me you wouldn't have done it !" 

  "Maybe she doesn't want to be with you," Ethan said, speaking up.

  "Ethan, be quiet, this is between me and Jenni," I responded trying to keep calm while talking to him.  He completely ignored me and turned to Jenni instead.

  "Who do you want to be with Jenni? Me or Grayson?" I looked over at Jenni who looked at me first at then at Ethan. I was so sure she was going to pick me, since we we're dating and all, but instead she stayed in silence.

"Well Jenni, who do you choose?" I ask waiting impatiently for her response. 

"I can't choose, I'm sorry, I need more time to think," Jenni said, her voice starting choke up. 

"What the hell do you mean you can't choose, Jenni we're literally dating!"

"I'm sorry Grayson, I really do like you but I don't know, I have feeling for Ethan." 

"I can't believe you Jenni, first your saying that the kiss was an accident, but now your old feelings for Ethan are coming back."

"I just really missed the way Ethan made me feel," Jenni said now tears running down her cheeks.

"Couldn't I make you feel that way , I thought  we felt the same about each other, I guess not."  Just then Ethan got up from the couch because he noticed Jenni really crying now. He went up to hug her, and I had to admit, I got jealous.

"Ethan, what are you doing?" I asked him firmly.

"I'm making her feel better unlike you making her feel worse."  Ethan said as he wrapped his arms around her waist, I couldn't stand to see this anymore, I was already to upset.

"I'm so done with the both of you, Jenni I think it would be better if you just left."

"But Grayson I-"

"Jenni, just please leave, its clear you don't want to be together, so just leave." Jenni ran upstairs to grab her stuff and quickly left.

"Bro, why would you do that?" Ethan asked me.

"Me? Why would you kiss my girlfriend. I know you used to like her and all, but that gives you no right just to makeout with her."

"I couldn't help it bro, she makes me feel special, I don't want to hurt her anymore."

"You don't need to hurt her anymore, because you hurt me instead." I said and walked back upstairs. I was too upset to even talk to Ethan, I just wanted to be alone.

Jenni's Point Of View
   The scene that just passed kept replaying in my head. I can't believe I just did that to Grayson. I couldn't help that I liked Ethan, he was just so kind, and it seemed like he was actually changing. I knew I had to make up my mind somehow. Since I didn't have anyone to talk to I knew I had to go back home.

Remembering of home reminded me that Cam was off tour, maybe talking to him would make me feel better. So I called him. He answered quickly.

"Hello? Jenni?" Answered Cameron.

"Hey Cameron, I heard you got off tour," I said trying to sound like I hadn't just cried, but it didn't work.

"Yeah, tour ended, but is something wrong? You sound like you've been crying."

"I'll explain when I get back to Oakland."

"Your coming back?! I can't wait to see you, I've missed you so much," Cameron said. He sounded so excited to see me I could see his smile right through the phone.

"I've missed you so much too Cam, but the only problem is that I don't have a ride back to Oakland."

"I'll come and get you don't worry Jenni."

"Thanks Cameron, your the best. Can't wait to see you again." I said as I hung up the phone and waited outside the twins apartment to get picked up and finally see Cameron again.
