Chapter 15: Darkness Lurks

Flashback: Many years ago in the Enchanted Forest, a young man name, Eclipse, wanted to team up with Hades as his Apprentice, but couldn't use his powers to reunite the Olympian Crystal. Hades lets him go. 500 years later, Eclipse is at a village healing people, where his apprentice informs him of a dark powerful Coven known as the Three Horsemen of the Apocalypse who is searching for a new fourth Horsemen. Eclipse meets a man, who introduces himself as Franklin the Horsemen of plague. In the Land of Untold Tales, Franklin arrives to tell Eclipse about his new destiny, and wants him to meet his new family, who then offer him a chance to become the fourth Horsemen of the Apocalypse after he is introduced to Emmett the Horsemen of War and Clarence the Horsemen of Envy. Franklin tells them that Eclipse doesn't have to be good, but believes that he can be evil, if he can put aside his vengeance against Hades. However, the Coven tell Eclipse of a book that Franklin keeps that foretells a person to become the fourth Horseman and complete the Coven, Eclipse is led to believing that he was the one they were looking for. Franklin, on the behalf of his brothers, then give Eclipse the scythe that will harness and protect him as it grows his powers, but tells him that if anyone takes the scythe, they can kill Death with the scythe. After he takes the scythe he becomes a skeleton guy wearing a black cloak to cover his face. Moments later after Franklin shows him the land he is giving to Eclipse, he sees an army of Grim Reapers on the land. However, it turns out that Eclipse is very evil, Yet he has good in him, Like Facilier. End of flashback

Present day Storybrooke, They have destroyed Hades, A new Underworld ruler has arisen, Maleficent. However, Hades summoned Death, the most powerful out of the other horseman's, to Storybrooke. At Roni's, Zelena is in mourning during a wake for Grayson and even Ursula is ready to reach out each other in the wake of her loss to uncle Hades. Dorothy and Edward are ready to console Zelena. Henry also pays respects to Grayson as he tells Grace he was worried about her while she was in the Underworld. At the cemetery, Facilier is resurrecting Nyx and Fufu, and begins to look at the Olympian Crystal, which he'll use to tether all the magic from Storybrooke. Facilier holds the crystal and it glows. Back at Roni's Diner, Liam and Renee walks in as they see Renee alive in the flesh but suddenly they hear a noise, and witnesses a series of beams shooting outside from the Olympian Crystal. All of a sudden Rumple shows up as Liam tells Zelena and Renee about his father's return. Realizing that Facilier is behind it, everyone traces the disturbance to the cemetery, Liam, Renee and Zelena finds out that Facilier stole Storybrooke's magic for resurrecting Nyx and Fufu. Renee tells Zelena to let her and Liam handle this one, leading to the two bickering until Grace stops them, but after Zelena disappears, Renee tells Grace to leave as well, only to meet up with Henry at the Emporium. Grace comes up with a solution by creating a plan called "Operation Electra." Utilizing her role as the Sorceress, Grace uses her wand that the apprentice gave her, to puff the crystal to her and suddenly, it appears in her hand by a pure white cloud of smoke. She sends both mothers a text, detailing her plans. When Facilier tells the others that Grace has taken the crystal, he tells them that Grace could destroy all magic and with it, Storybrooke. Renee notes she placed a GPS app on Grace's phone to find her, but Grace had the phone left behind on the bus on purpose. Elsewhere, Death appears to the Apprentice and rips out his heart to crush it, which kills him instantly. Later, Regina finds the Apprentice died on the ground and sees the wand as she uses the wand and creates a portal to return Aladdin, Jasmine, Alice, Jamie, Anneliese, Charlie and the Wonderland residents to their homes, just in case magic does get destroyed. Unfortunately, the portal becomes too strong that it dragged Regina, Dorothy, Edward, and Rumple into it because of the magic tied to the crystal. The portal closes and vanishes in thin air.
