Flashback: In the pre-First Curse Enchanted Forest after Zelena conquered the Realm, during her reign as the Wicked Witch, is still after Dorothy Gale's heart, and as usual, comes up empty-handed as Dorothy eludes her once again. The Wicked Witch then gathers the munchkins and tells them that she, not Dorothy, cares about them. When the Black Fairy shows up to tell her why she did not pursue Grayson, Zelena decides to scorn the fairy, but spares her and tells Fiona not to meddle with her. This later leads to an argument between Zelena and Glinda, who warns Zelena that revenge will never make her happy. Later on, the Black Fairy leads Zelena to a portal that was designed to lead her to Grayson, but the Wicked Witch is still obsessed with revenge, as she takes Cupid's arrow, and uses dark magic to make it pinpoint the person she hates most instead. However, when she fires the arrow, it flies straight towards her fortress. Believing that Dorothy is there, Zelena returns on her enchanted broom to discover that the arrow leads her to her crystal ball, which she shatters into pieces. Zelena realizes it is herself she hates most. End of Flashback

Present day Storybrooke, the Wish Realm Grayson is starting to adjust to life in Storybrooke and after a skeptical Syrina confronts Zelena about the Wish Grayson and leaves, Zelena checks on Grayson and finds him missing and a picture of Rumple, who Grayson thinks is the Light One from this realm. Elsewhere, Grayson puffs in a emerald green cloud of smoke to the police station and finds the Light One dagger, then puffs away with the dagger. At the mental ward, Zelena stops Grayson from killing Hyde by talking to him. Zelena tells Grayson about his real world counterpart having a daughter in this realm, and they agree to start fresh with a kiss. Later that day, while Wish Grayson was spending time with Syrina, Zelena visits Dorothy at her apartment, and tells her that bringing Grayson back was not only a mistake, but she is now starting to question how he managed to survive coming to the portal. She even questions why her kiss with Grayson felt like she was kissing paper. Later, Dorothy comes up with a plan to help Jekyll, and later shows Zelena a lab located in Dr. Frankenstein's garage to prepare the plans to stop the Wicked Witch. That night, Zelena comes to Dr. Hopper's office and asks if they can talk, but then she attacks him. Emma sees her come and go. At the Cabin in the woods, the Wicked Witch joins Death and the Black Fairy, she reveals to them that Archie is now a prisoner in the hold and that the corpse in his office was the body of someone else she murdered and then magically disguised as him. The Wicked Witch turns Archie into a cricket once again, putting him in a cage that hangs above Regina's baby crib.
