A New Problem

Nandini after doing the puja was going to the kitchen to make breakfast when her phone beeped....
"Good morning my gorgeous life😘"

Nandini was about to text him back when her phone showed Amms call.

Nandini: Hello Amms...how r u?

Amms: Mein bilkul thik hun kanna...tum kaisi ho?

Nandini: I m good....aapka tour kaisa raha?

(Amms had gone to attend a 7- day musical tour in Bangalore)

Amms: Bahut acha. Bahut bade bade classical singers aaye the...Bahut acha experience tha.

Nandini: Nice Amms...now tell me when are u coming here?

Amms: Jaldi hi aaungi...waise tumhari Holi kaisi rahi.

Nandini: Awesome...we had so much fun.

Amms: Mujhe pata chala...Trilok ka phone aaya tha kal. Usne bataya ki tumne bahut acha gaana gaya. Woh toh tumhari awaaz ki bhi bahut taarif kar raha tha.

Nandini: Acha...her voice suddenly became dull listening Pandit's name.

Amms: Kanna....Trilok keh raha tha ki agar tum thoda riyaaz karo toh tum best classical singer ban sakti ho.

Nandini: Hmm

Amms: Kya hmm Nandini...kanna mein chahti hun tum uska workshop attend karo.

Nandini: But Amms u know na, I don't have time...she tried to give an excuse.

Amms: Tumhara kaam disturb na ho isliye Trilok ne specially tumhare liye subah 6 baje ka time set kiya hai.

Nandini: But Amms...

Amms:.Bas kanna...mujhe kuch aur nahi sunna hai...kal se tum riyaaz karne jaa rahi ho.

Nandini tried a lot to convince her but she was adamant on her decision. Finally Nandini had to give up.

Navya was up by now n she too heard a part of their conversation (of course of Nandini's side). Nandini told Navya everything n now Navya was also worried because she knew Nandini didn't like that Pandit.

Navya: Now what will u do?

Nandini: I don't know. Right now my mind is not working. Let's chuck it for now. We need to leave for our job n abhi tak breakfast bhi nahi bana hai.

Navya: Don't worry...I'll make some cheese toast n tea...saying this she went into the kitchen.

Malhotra Mansion 8:45 am

Manik got ready for the office. He checked his phone but there was no message from Nandini.

Manik's pov

Where r u Shona? No reply...I hope she is fine.

He grew restless n immediately dialed her number.
Nandini was sitting at the dining table thinking over her conversation with Amms when her phone rang. She looked at the screen and ' Aaiyappa, how come I forgot to wish him back'

She slipped into her room n picked up the call.

Nandini: Good morning Manik...she tried to sound chirpy as she didn't want him to guess worry in her tone.

Manik: Good morning my love...why didn't u reply back?

Nandini: Woh...Woh..Haan..actually I was with Navya...so...so...I couldn't reply u back...sorry.
